CASIO SUPPORTS JEWELERS FOR CHILDREN

Company To Help Generate Funding For Non-Profit Organization

LAS VEGAS, JUNE 4, 2010 - Casio America, Inc. is proud to announce that the company is now a supporter of Jewelers for Children (JFC), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that raises money in the fine jewelry and watch industries to help children who are the victims of catastrophic illness or life-threatening abuse and neglect. JFC is comprised of manufacturers, retailer jewelers, trade associations, watch companies and those who provide professional services to the jewelry industry who unite on behalf of children.

In conjunction with the jewelry industry’s premier tradeshow, Jeweler’s Circular Keystone (JCK) Las Vegas, Casio will be participating in Jewelers for Children’s Facets of Hope event on June 6th at The Venetian Resort Hotel & Casino. The annual fundraising gala is a culmination of the organization’s charitable efforts for the year and attracts more than 1,000 industry guests during the JCK Show. Casio is supporting the gala through advertising in the commemorative journal, purchasing tickets to the event and donations of watches for youth ambassadors of the organization’s charity partner, National Court Appointed Special Advocate Association (CASA).

“Casio is honored to join an elite group of watch and jewelry industry leaders who are making a difference in the lives of thousands of children,” says Shigenori Itoh, vice president of Casio’s Timepiece Division. “We look forward to supporting Jewelers for Children and the organization’s fundraising initiatives.”

JFC was founded in 1999 by the U.S. jewelry industry with the mission of helping children in need. Since its inception, JFC has donated nearly $32 million to programs benefiting children whose lives have been affected by illness, abuse, or neglect through charity partners such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of America, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, the National CASA Association and Autism Speaks. JFC also provides support to the Make-A-Wish Foundation International, the Santa-America Fund and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. This nationwide success is due to the continuing generosity of jewelry trade organizations, jewelry and watch manufacturing companies, jewelry retail stores, individual jewelry professionals and jewelry consumers.
