CASIO PACKS A BUNDLE OF FEATURES IN THE SLIM STYLING OF THEIR NEWEST ATOMIC SOLAR TIMEPIECE AT CES IN LAS VEGAS

New Atomic Solar Pathfinder Timepiece Shows Off a Whole New Look

LAS VEGAS, NV, JANUARY 8, 2007 – Casio, Inc. announced the release of its newest Pathfinder timepiece, the PAW1300T-7V, at the CES 2007 Show that opened today at the Las Vegas Convention Center.  The timepiece will be on display at Casio's Booth #9808.

The new Pathfinder PAW1300T-7V features Casio's revolutionary Waveceptor Atomic Timekeeping Technology and tough solar power, meaning no more worries of changing the time for daylight savings time or leap years. Atomic time is the official U.S. government time, the time that NASA uses when they're counting down a shuttle launch and the time our military relies upon.  The atomic transmitter sends time data, several times daily, and it is received by the antenna built right into the watch.

The PAW1300T-7V provides consumers with a slim case and still packs all the great features within the Pathfinder line, including a digital compass, altimeter, barometer, 100M water resistance and low temperature resistance.  It's every outdoor and weather aficionado's essential tool!

"We are thrilled to introduce the newest member to our Pathfinder lineup at CES," said Dave Johnson, Senior General Manager of Casio's Timepiece Division. " Not only have we continued to incorporate timepieces into our line that are multi-functional, but the new slim case gives it a whole new appearance."

The new Pathfinder timepiece still incorporates all the great features that have become synonymous with Casio, including atomic timekeeping technology which can receive signals from Atomic Clocks located in the U.S., U.K., Germany and Japan based on the users home city setting.

The PAW1300T-7V is available in a titanium band, and will be available at select department stores for the MSRP of $350. The same Pathfinder model is also available in black resin (PAW1300-1V) and green resin (PAW1300-3V) at select department stores for the MSRP of $300.
