Non-Stop, Self-Adjusting Technology in a Tough And Sophisticated Composite Design

DOVER, NJ, OCTOBER 14, 2008 - Casio America, Inc. introduces a new premium G-Shock timepiece collection - the Rose Gold Series.   The new Rose Gold series offers a trendy combination of rose gold accents matched with matte black IP (ion plating).  Impeccably designed with toughness and technology, the MT-G, GIEZ, GW700BRJ-1A, and GW1800BRJ-1A, all feature Non-Stop, Tough Solar Power and Self-Adjusting Atomic Timekeeping technology.  Each timepiece remains uniquely distinct, sophisticated, powerful and tough.

Non-Stop, Tough Solar Power - A tiny, solar panel combined with a large-capacity rechargeable battery enables a variety of energy-hungry functions to operate smoothly. The result is an impressive solar timepiece that assures highly accurate and reliable timekeeping and that greatly reduces the need for battery change.

Self-Adjusting Multi-Band 5 Atomic Timekeeping Technology receives time calibration signals automatically from up to 5 transmitters around the world (US, Germany, UK, 2 in Japan) and updates settings accordingly for pinpoint accuracy.  This technology even adjusts for Leap Year and Daylight Saving Time. With Casio’s Atomic Timekeeping Technology, you will always have ultimate precision.

“We are thrilled to be introducing these high-end G-Shocks, combining a trendy cutting-edge design with the G-Shock’s tradition of toughness and technology,” said Shigenori Itoh, Vice President of Casio’s Timepiece Division. “The Rose Gold collection is the perfect watch for a man who desires a sophisticated and fashionable watch for their rugged, active lifestyle.”

The MT-G (MTG1000BR-1A) features the rich rose gold color on both the case and the dial, while combining materials of stainless steel, known for its hardness and resin for its toughness. Taking advantage of both of these characteristics enabled designers to create a distinct design in which two completely different materials intertwine beautifully for superior shock resistance.Additional features include shock and 200M water resistance, countdown timer, 1/20 second chronograph and daily alarm. The Rose Gold MT-G also has full analog display with perpetual calendar.

Accented in rich IP (ion-plated) Rose Gold, the GIEZ (GS1100BR-1A), is a 5-motor chronograph timepiece with both shock and 200M water resistance. The GIEZ achieves a strong, sophisticated design utilizing a solid stainless steel case and unique minimalist urethane bezel to allow for complete shock resistance and radio signal reception.  Additional features include 1/20 second chronograph, world time (27 cities), daily alarm and perpetual calendar.

The GW1800BRJ-1A adds a new look to a classic ani-digi G-Shock by combining Solar Atomic Timekeeping and a tough solid stainless steel band with black IP (ion plating).
