Casio Exhibits Innovative New Products at the 2014 Internation Consumer Electronics Show

 January 7, 2014

LAS VEGAS, NV, January 7, 2014 — Casio America, Inc. is pleased to announce that it will exhibit an expanded portfolio of products during the 2014 International CES, in Las Vegas, NV, from January 7-10, 2014. Casio will be located in the Central Hall, booth #10904.

“Casio’s booth at the 2014 International CES is based on the concept of creating new product value through innovative ideas using the company’s electronics technology,” said Shigenori Itoh, CEO of Casio America, Inc. “Onlookers will see products that are not only more convenient and enjoyable, but that also contribute to society by becoming a part of human culture.”

The booth’s main exhibit will showcase Casio’s new sports watch equipped with Bluetooth® v4.0 low energy wireless technology which enables wearers to connect with their smartphones and various fitness apps. Based off of Casio’s G-SHOCK Bluetooth watches, the new STB-1000 sports watch will offer a number of features ideal for athletes. In addition, the company will also showcase its portfolio of LampFree® projectors, electronic digital pianos, and more, including a new lineup of stamp makers which have gained popularity in Japan over the past year.

At Casio’s booth, each product area (i.e. watches, stamp makers, electronic digital pianos and projectors) will display a Casio Signage unit enabling visitors to view and hear added product attributes. Casio Signage, launched at CES last year, is a cutting-edge storefront advertising tool with the ability to captivate passers-by with a realistic-looking character that talks to them. The high-impact of this technology will be visible throughout the Casio booth. Visitors that participate in a Casio questionnaire will also be entered in a drawing presented using Casio Signage, and can win popular G-SHOCK watches and calculators.
