________

DOVER, NJ, APRIL 22, 2004-Casio, Inc., Dover, NJ, a leading consumer electronics manufacturer and marketer of popular graphing and scientific calculators, today announced an exciting rewards program for schools, colleges and universities.

"The purpose of the program is to encourage schools to adopt Casio as their main technology provider for graphing and scientific calculators and to foster the loyalty of the schools currently using Casio in their classroom," said John Casey, general manager of Casio's Educational Division.

Schools (not individuals) will be awarded points for the purchases they make of any Casio merchandise which they can redeem for products listed on the Casio Educational price list. Schools are permitted to have only one school agent represent them and that agent must be properly authorized.

To become a registered member, the authorized agent of a school simply logs on to casioeducation.com, submits the registration and can then obtain a "Rewards Program" form. Points will be awarded based on the number of returned UPC codes redeemed by the school. Merchandise can be purchased directly by the schools through an educational dealer or purchase the product from their local retailer.

UPC's and completed form should be sent back to Casio. The points will be posted to the school/teachers after Casio has received the UPC code and completed form, stating which school, teacher, and account should be issued the points.

This program is open to grades K-12. Colleges and Junior colleges may also be eligible for the same program by either submitting their UPC codes or by registering their local campus bookstore with Casio and receive credit for all of the net sales generated through the bookstore.

Casey said that points can, at the discretion of an authorized Casio agent, have greater value when applied to special promotions such as trade show orders. In this instance, the school is eligible to receive two times the normal point value after producing the authorized purchase order in conjunction with the necessary UPC code from their purchase.

The Educational Division of Casio, Inc. is responsible for orchestrating a number of initiatives that will expand and enhance the use of Casio calculators in the classroom. These initiatives include a Rewards Program and the establishment of Casio's Teacher Advisory Council (CTAC) that has been convened to help define future electronic technologies for the classroom. Each of these initiatives is aimed at providing affordable technology for the classroom.
