Merging G-Shock Technology with In4mation Surf Style

DOVER, NJ, April 19, 2010 — G-Shock and In4mation team up for a fourth installment collaboration watch. After three highly sought after collectibles, G-Shock and the Hawaiian-based boardsport brand have fused the latest G-Shock toughness and technology with the In4mation alternative design concept in the GLX6900X-2.

Irreverently clad in sleek gray with yellow and red accents, the GLX6900X-2 remains rooted in In4mation’s surf heritage. Harmonizing with the surfer lifestyle, the G-Shock In4mation chronograph features 200M water resistance, low temperature resistance, tide graph and moon data graph for the ultimate in tracking high and low tides. Even the EL Backlight reflects In4mation’s legacy with a red shaka sign, the definitive symbol of aloha and Hawaiian culture.

Conceived by four partners and long time friends, In4mation first opened their doors in April 2002 in Millilani, Hawaii. Creative director Rhandy Tambio, who has worked for nearly a decade in the action sports and urban market, heads up the In4mation Brand in NYC, while fellow partners Todd Shimabuku, Ryan Arakaki and pro surfer Jun Jo oversee marketing and operations at the three location on Oahu, Hawaii. Designer Elska Sandor joined the In4mation family in 2007 to help focus on design and development with over 11 years of skate and street industry experience, such as being the co-founder of NYC’s Rookie Skateboards.
