G-SHOCK RELEASES NEW BLACKOUT & WHITEOUT COLLECTIONS

The Black & White Capsule Collection Seamlessly Combines Style and Rugged Tough Technology

DOVER, NJ, March 14, 2012 — Casio America, Inc. announces a new monochromatic assortment of G-Shocks that are sure to turn heads. Using a combination of classic styles and some recent case introductions, G-Shock puts a clean, bold look together in a series for their Blackout & Whiteout capsule collection. Consisting of four hero styles; the GDF100BB-1 and the GA120BB-1A featured in solid matte black with high gloss accents and the DW6900WW-7 and GD100WW-7 are available in crisp white with eye-catching mirror dial treatments.

BLACKOUT SERIES:

The GDF100BB-1 G-Shock features the front-facing pressure and temperature sensor built into the case/bezel at the 9 o’clock position. This twin sensor G-Shock has barometric/temperature and altitude readings that can be viewed on the watch display simultaneously for greater visibility and performance during the critical stages of a climb or descent. The GDF100BB also features shock resistance, 200M water resistance, high brightness LED light, flash alert, world time (31TZ/48 cities), 5 daily alarms, 1/100th sec. stopwatch, countdown timer, 12/24 hr formats, and mute function.

The GA120BB-1A G-Shock was inspired by motorcycle sports; the periphery of the face is configured to resemble the disk brakes of a motorcycle, and the connection point of the hands is configured in the form of gears. The GA120BB-1A is shock resistant, 200M water resistant, magnetic resistant, features an auto LED light, world time (29TZ/48 cities +UTC), 4 daily alarms + 1SNZ, 1/1000th sec. stopwatch with speed indicator, countdown timer and 12/24 hr formats.

WHITEOUT SERIES:

The G-Shock GD100WW-7, has a mirror LCD face, is shock resistant, 200M water resistant, features an auto super illuminator LED light , flash alert, world time (31TZ/48 cities + UTC), multi-home time, 5 independent alarms (one-time or daily), countdown timer, 12/24 hr formats, mute function, and 7 year battery.

The DW6900WW-7 G-Shock is classic in form, yet modern in style with it’s stark white dial with mirror LCD windows. This all matte white G-Shock features shock resistance, is 200M water resistant, and has an EL backlight, flash alert, multi-function alarm, 1/100th sec. stopwatch, countdown timer, and 12/24 hr formats.
