Baby-G “Turns Back the Clock” with its New 20th Anniversary BGD500 Collection
Dover, NJ, April 8, 2014 — Casio Baby-G is commemorating its 20th anniversary by taking a trip back in time with a renaissance of the classic DW500C model! New to launch, the retro-inspired BGD500 series will flashback to the touchstones of ‘90s style while still toasting modern, millennial tastes.
This spring, Baby-G will hit rewind on its repertoire of timepieces, debuting new looks for an old favorite. The April-released collection of three watch models embraces a simple color palette of cool black (BGD500-1), green and clear (BGD500-3) and yellow (BGD500-9) that is altogether subtle and stylish.Fans who remember the staple face protector bars and classic square shape of their first Baby-G, will see a revival in these new additions, along with other tried-and-true testaments of Baby-G original digital design 200-meter water resistance, a 60 lap memory, 1/100th second stopwatch and an EL backlight for after-dark time-telling.
The May launch of the BGD501-2 item will sweeten upany arm party with a cotton-candy-colored light blue band sporting pink accents. Whether going for a deliberate youthful look or accessorizing to match a chalked-highlights hair ‘do, this iteration of the classic design takes a trip down memory lane even as it takes part in the latest trends.
