How fast is really fast? The EXILIM Card EX-S100 has a shutter speed of 0.01 second after succesful focussing. Which means there is little that is fast enough to escape you!
Auto Pan-Focus
Stay on the ball: With fast-moving motifs the auto-focus of the camera has to continuously readjust. This costs time and can lead to delays when you actuate the shutter release. The Auto Pan-Focus therefore switches off the auto-focus just before you take a picture. This takes only 0.01 second between actuating the shutter release and beginning to take the picture.

Direct On function
Just a moment: While other cameras are still positioning the lens, thanks to the Direct On function you've long since made the best snapshots. With the press of a button, your camera is ready to take pictures - in only about 1.4 second. Another practical feature: Direct On-Play.
