Is there any software for my cash register?

Casio does not have software for the current open line cash registers. For any register that is mid Range or POS software is available through your dealer.

Where can I purchase register tape?

Tape for cash register may be purchased through any office supply 57~58mm, for cash registers with a T in the prefix select thermal paper.

What is the battery backup power?

The battery back up on the cash registers is to maintain the programming in the event there is an interruption in power. The register cannot be run off of the backup batteries.

How do I install the batteries?

Most PCR models use 3 AA batteries and the battery compartment is in the printer area either under the paper or to the left side. Please see manual for exact location.

How do I get Dealer Supported for my cash register?

Cash Registers that are within the mid range or POS levels are sold and supported by the company that sells the item. If you have and older model please call 800-706-534 option ?. We will be happy to forward your information to a district manager to have a dealer familar with your model contact you.

I am having a problem with my LCD on my cash register. How can it be fix?

If the LCD is blank or the LCD shows missing areas this is a repair issue.

If the cash register does not come on or turns off without turning it off the unit requires repair.

If register is PCRT or CET the "T" means the register has a thermal printer and requires thermal paper.

How do I Reset my Cash Register?

This will erase all information - with the PGM key at Off press and hold down the Feed button, while holding the Feed button turn the PGM key doen to the PGM mode Releasr the Feed Button ----INI should appear or a group of 8 zeros

To set the time: Enter 1 Press Subtotal Enter time Press x for/Date Time button press AC/C (24 hour clock 2 digits for the hour and 2 digits for the minutes 1:23 pm = 1323)
To set the date: Enter 1 press Subtotal Enter date xfor/Date Time buttom press AC/C (for Sept 10, 2008 = 080910)

The X and Z reports are off? What is the cause?

You need to investigate the days sales to see if corrections, refunds etc were done properly. Not a programming issue

Can I reset the Grand Total?

The cash register has a total at the bottom of the daily reset report. This is the NON resettable Grand Sales Figure, you cannot reset this amount it is accumlative.
