Can PocketPC software be installed on the
BE-300

and many makers of PDA software are currently porting their most popular titles
to the BE-300

and ActiveSync?

*Files
can be viewed but not edited, with the exception of .txt files.
I have transferred images onto my BE-300, yet when I try to view them using
Photo Viewer, only some appear.
Most likely, the images you cannot see have a resolution higher than 640X480.
In order to view images in Photo Viewer, images must be in one of the following
formats: JPEG (*.jpeg, *.jpg) / BMP (*.bmp) / GIF (*.gif) / PNG (*.png). Secondly,
these images can reach a maximum resolution of 640X480. Larger images cannot
be viewed in Photo Viewer, however, can be viewed using Quick View Plus.
How can I transfer files (photos, MP3 files, Word/Excel documents, etc.)
from my PC to the BE-300?
You can transfer files from your PC to the BE-300 using folder synchronization.
The procedure to set up folder synchronization is described in the PC Connect

"Folder Synchronization," then double-click "Folder Synchronization steps" to
view the procedure.
Is
the IBM Microdrive compatible with the BE-300?
Yes. We do recommend that you download the BE300update.zip from the
following download page to ensure best performance.

What
should I do when Auto Power Off seems to have become disabled after using the
Web browser?
Resetting the CASSIOPEIA and then turning power off and then back
on again should correct the problem. The system registry has a setting that
disables Auto Power Off (APO) while data communication is in progress. During
a dial up or other type of connection, the normal system application controls
APO. If an error or a termination if the connection while you are Web browsing,
however, can interfere with proper APO control. Resetting the CASSIOPEIA and
turning it off and back on again corrects the problem.
