Standard 3-year Warranty and 180-day Lamp Warranty
ITEMS COVERED: CASIO AMERICA, INC. ("Casio") warrants to the initial end-user customer of the Casio product enclosed that if purchased and used in the United States or Canada it will conform to Casio’s specifications and will be free from defects in material and workmanship for three years from date of purchase. Projector lamps are covered under this warranty but for a period of three-months or 500 hours (whichever comes first) from original date of purchase.
CASIO’S PLEDGE TO CORRECT PROBLEMS UNDER WARRANTY: At its option, Casio will either repair or replace the in-warranty defective unit without charging the customer. When parts or products are exchanged under warranty the item(s) replaced will automatically become Casio’s property. In order to make repair or exchange under warranty Casio may elect to use new parts or those reconditioned to Casio’s exacting standards of performance and quality. Once an item has been repaired under warranty it assumes the remaining period of warranty based upon original date of purchase. Projector lamps will be handled similarly, except that the lamp warranty is limited as indicated above.
NOT COVERED UNDER THIS WARRANTY: End-users of these products will not have any claim under this warranty for repair or adjustment expense if:
NEITHER THIS WARRANTY NOR ANY OTHER WARRANTY OR GUARANTY, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF MERCHANTABILITIY OR OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL EXTEND BEYOND THE WARRANTY PERIOD, NO RESPONSIBILITY IS ASSUMED FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGED RESULTING FROM INACCURACY OR MATHEMATICAL INNACCURACY OF THE PRODUCT OR THE LOSS OF STORED DATA. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS AND SOME STATES OR JURISTICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR C0NSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION BY A PARTY OF LIABILITY FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY THAT PARTY’S NEGLIGENCE, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS SHALL NOT IN SUCH CASES APPLY. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE, JURISDICTION TO JURISDICTION, OR COUNTRY-TO-COUNTRY, NOTHING IN THIS WARRANTY AFFECTS YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS.
