When I read the data from a USB memory, a "Wrong Data" error message is displayed.
The data in the USB memory may be damaged. Please confirm the data, and read the correct data again. * When you use CT-S1000V, the lyric tone may not sound if a "Wrong Data" error message is displayed when reading "ALL DATA" (when you press the key in Lyrics mode, the sound is not produced). If you cannot improve even after reading the correct data, please restore the lyric tone by the following methods: <Preset lyric tone> - When you read all data from a USB memory, please click here . - When you transfer the lyric sounds by using "Lyric Creator", please click here . <User lyric tone> - Please use “Lyric Creator” to transfer the lyric tone again. For the details, please click here .
A foreign object slipped down to the inside of my digital piano from the gap in the keyboard cover. Can I just remove it? It seems my piano works without any problem.
You can not remove the object from the digital piano by yourself. In case the object inside the piano has conductivity, it may cause an accident so please contact our authorized repair center. Please refer to the support page from the following URL to find our authorized repair center in your country or region. world.casio.com/support/changecountry/
Music Production Software does not recognize my piano (or keyboard) as a MIDI keyboard.
Disconnect and reconnect the cable connecting the computer and instrument, and set up a device "CASIO USB-MIDI" on Music Production Software. For the device setting method, please contact the software development manufacturer.
[MIDI connection] I cannot connect WU-BT10.
The possible causes are as follows: (Cause) Your musical instrument is not compatible with WU-BT10. (Countermeasure) This adaptor WU-BT10 works only with Casio musical instruments compatible with WU-BT10. Even if your musical instrument has a USB Type-A terminal, the unsupported musical instruments cannot work. (Cause) The wireless function* of your musical instrument is not turned on. (Countermeasure) If the wireless function* of the instrument is turned off, please turn it on. The operating procedure differs depending on the musical instruments. Please refer to the instruction manual of the musical instruments. * If you are using CT-S1, CT-S400, CT-S410, or LK-S450, please turn on the Bluetooth function. (Cause) The connecting procedure is wrong. (Countermeasure) The connecting procedure of Bluetooth Low Energy MIDI is different from the procedure of Bluetooth audio, and it is necessary to perform the connecting operation with the application software . For the details, please see the manual of application software.
I am having problems with my MIDI connection.
Can't transfer songs, USB isn't recognized, MIDI USB device won't install. 1) Configure USB MIDI device first. Connect USB midi cable/device you have. Insert accompanying CD and complete installation of that device before connecting to keyboard. 2) Connect the OUT to the IN on the keyboard. Connect the IN to the OUT on the keyboard (This may be different depending on the MIDI device being used. Please see the MIDI device instructions for proper connection.) 3) Configure MIDI IN and MIDI OUT on the computer MIDI software. These must both be the same and named for the device/cable you installed. No matter what software is used MIDI IN and OUT MUST be configured in order to create connectivity between the software and the PC. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE. If the customer does not know how to configure the MIDI IN and OUT with their Non-Casio software, they must contact their software vendor. 4) Once this is installed, almost EVERY MIDI software has some TEST mode. 5) Make sure Local Control = ON on the keyboard itself. 6) If keyboard is in sleep mode (Lighted Keys are playing by themselves with no sound), please hit a key and re-activate the keyboard before data transfer will work.
[MIDI connection] The sound is interrupted or fluctuates.
The possible causes are as follows: (Cause) Both audio and MIDI are connected. (Countermeasure) Depending on the device and OS version, MIDI operation may become unstable if audio and MIDI are connected at the same time. In this case, please disconnect the Bluetooth audio. (Cause) There is a device such as microwave oven that generates disturbing radio waves nearby. (Countermeasure) Please keep away from the devices that generate disturbing radio waves. (Cause) The distance between the musical instrument and the Bluetooth Low Energy MIDI compatible device is long. (Countermeasure) Please bring the device closer to the musical instrument. (Cause) The performance of Bluetooth Low Energy MIDI compatible devices is low. (Countermeasure) Depending on the performance of the device, the operation may become unstable. It may be improved by changing the power saving setting of the device or setting the application software.
