With the new FUTURE CLASSIC collection, CASIO presents its absolute design classics from more than 50 years of watchmaking history.
Norderstedt, February 20, 2026 – CASIO presents the new FUTURE CLASSIC collection featuring six of its most popular design classics from over 50 years of watchmaking history. In 1974, CASIO launched the CASIOTRON, the first digital watch with an automatic calendar, a true world first at the time. Since then, CASIO has continuously expanded its product range with numerous innovations and technological advancements, true to the CASIO company credo: to make a creative contribution with innovative products.
1982 – LA680
The LA680 from 1982 is an absolute retro classic in the collection. With its delicate elegance and, for its time, unusual features, it's sure to delight its wearers! In addition to the time, hour, minute, and second, it also displays the date and a daily alarm. A small, robust, reliable, and stylish digital watch that has been loved by generations. 1995 – A168
In 1995, CASIO developed the iconic octagonal A168, originally for the North American market, and it has since transcended national and gender boundaries. Its simple design has made it a fashion statement for generations. The digital LCD features EL backlighting for easy readability. 1995 – AQ-230
The AQ-230, with its elongated, rectangular case in a metallic finish, combines an analog display with hour and minute hands with a small digital display. 2024 – ABL-100
The A168 remake retro model is packed with highly useful technologies that support a healthy lifestyle. A sensor counts steps, while the LCD displays the total steps taken that day. The watch connects to a smartphone via Bluetooth® and can be easily configured using the app. The smart ABL-100WE-1A is available for 79.90 euros.
2012 – AE-1200
The popular AE-1200, with its digital watch face, evokes the 80s. The AE-1200 boasts a metal look and many useful functions, such as world time, a 1/100-second stopwatch, five daily alarms, a 10-year battery life, and is also water-resistant up to 10 bar. The classic AE-1200WHD-1AV is available for 49.90 euros.
2025 - AQ-240
With the new AQ-240, CASIO reinvents the retro shape: The silver AQ-240 captivates with its striking new square case and combines an elegant retro look with modern features.
