Privia celebrates its 20th anniversary in Japan

Grand Finale in Tokyo
On 4 December 2024, the ‘Privia 20th Anniversary Showcase’ took place in Tokyo as the finale of a worldwide series of events (following stops in the USA, China and Germany). At Nihonbashi Mitsui Hall, artists Hayato Sumino (Cateen), Ryota Kikuchi and Shintaro Namioka presented special musical performances on the Privia PX-S7000. The stage was designed in a stylish, homely atmosphere, supported by furniture from the Ligne Roset brand.
Casio representatives emphasised Privia's innovative power and its role as a ‘lifestyle piano’ that integrates music enjoyment into everyday life. Design prototypes and the philosophy behind the PX-S7000 were also presented.
The artists particularly praised the sound, versatility and design of the instrument. Hayato Sumino, who had already performed at other Privia events, highlighted the global enthusiasm for Privia. Ryota Kikuchi demonstrated the instrument's tonal range, and Shintaro Namioka shared his personal story with Privia.
The event was an emotional look back at 20 years of Privia and, at the same time, a look ahead to new creative possibilities.
