Casiotone feat. Romero Britto
Sounds, colours and keys
Romero Britto's art represents joy and hope. The basic principle of the collaboration for Casiotone is to have fun making music.

Romero Britto
Romero Britto, born 1963, is an acclaimed visual artist and founder of the Happy Art movement. The artist shot to fame in 1989 with his work "Absolut Art". He was the official artist of the FIFA World Cup in Brazil in 2014, and for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016. His works are exhibited in galleries, museums and public spaces in over 120 countries, in places such as the Louvre in Paris and Hyde Park in London. Vibrant colours and expressive patterns express hope and happiness. His style is immediately recognizable, which is why Romero is known as the "modern Picasso".
"The artwork for Casiotone came about through musical inspiration. Whenever I hear music, I feel energetic and happy — ready to create more art."

Casiotone is all about ensuring music-making is accessible to all, and Romero Britto wants to express the feelings of hope and happiness universally through his art. These two intentions have come together to form a single goal — to bring people the joy of making music and art.

Art x Music = Joy!
The bright colours of this keyboard definitely makes you want to pick it up and play it.

Sound that moves you!
Casio's AiX Sound Source technology has been refined over several generations of musical instruments. In combination with the powerful speaker system, the instrument impresses in terms of sound as well as design. The timbres are represented very realistically and with great attention to detail. You'll find the right sound for every song and won't want to put the instrument down.

Make music seriously — but in a playful pop art design!
In the beginning, the idea was to develop a colourful design for the speaker textile surface. This gave rise to the collaboration idea with Romero Britto. The instrument not only communicates the artist's positive world, but also brings the joy of making music to the world.

Heart of a champion
AiX Sound Source technology is at the core of the CT-S1, authentically reproducing the characteristic sound of each instrument. Keyboardists can choose from 61 exquisitely designed tones — including acoustic piano, electric piano and organ. So you're guaranteed to find your favourites. Developed by expert engineers, Casio's ADVANCED TONES allow you to experience the grandeur and flair of performance with modern ease.

Timeless classics in a new guise
We analysed the sound and texture of vintage musical instruments used in the hits of decades gone by and brought them to life with our unique technology. Furthermore, we have captured the legendary sounds of our own wide range of keyboards and synthesizers, such as the Casiotone 201, with CASIO CLASSIC TONES to celebrate the debut of our electronic musical instruments from the 1980s.

Sound that brings the room to life
Experience dynamic sounds with the CT-S1's newly developed integrated speaker system. The innovative Horizontal Bass Reflex technology and specially designed speakers provide clear, crisp notes with a powerful bass "punch" in a chic and compact form. Take your musical immersion experience a step further and lose yourself in lush soundscapes amidst the full power of surround sound. Maintain superior sound quality at any decibel with the Volume-Sync EQ function that automatically adjusts the presence of bass and treble, even at low volumes.

Keep it simple.
Keep it real
The stripped-down keys, speakers and minimalist design that focuses on the pure essence of musical instruments contribute to the CT-S1's straightforward functionality and operation. This ensures you can get maximum playing pleasure and focus on the music. The instruments are available in black, white, red or as a special model with Romero Britto's design. The speaker with the multicoloured grille extends over the entire length of the keyboard and thus provides a wide-ranging surround sound. The sleek look provides the ideal minimal aesthetic, blending seamlessly with any interior setting, and allowing your life and your music to shine.

Small format, big inspiration
Thanks to the compact design of the CT-S1, music becomes your constant companion as you can play anytime, anywhere. The compact instrument really fits into any room. You even have the option to attach the instrument with a strap (not included) so you can perform completely free without a keyboard stand or table!
