While a phone or computer is connected over a wireless network using the printer's Access Point Mode, it will not be able to connect to an outside network. This means network-based data communication functions (such as email send and receive) will not be possible on your phone/computer.
To connect to an outside network, restore the wireless LAN settings of your phone or computer to, or turn off printer power.
