1. Press power to turn on the printer.
- The LED indicator on the printer turns on.

2. Activate Bluetooth on your smartphone.

3. Launch LABEL DESIGN MAKER on the smartphone.
- If you are launching the app for the first time, the “End User Software License Agreement” appears.

4. Read the End User Software License Agreement carefully and then tap “Agree”.
- The printer model selection screen appears.

5. Select “KL-BT1” and tap “Finish”.
- The printer model selection screen appears.

6. Tap “Connect now”.
- “Found printers.” appears, along with the “KL-BT1_******” printer name.
- If “Printer not found.” appears, tap the “Retry” button and search for the printer again.
- If permission to access location information is requested, tap [Always allow] or [Allow while using the app].
(The details shown may differ depending on your OS version.)

7. Tap the “KL-BT1_******” printer name to select this printer.
- When this printer is selected, the LED indicator on the printer flashes several times.
- When the connection is completed, the “Print Settings” screen reappears showing the connected printer.

Important!
To use BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) with Android 6.0 or later, access to location information must be both enabled and permitted.
