Basic operations

Where is the power switch located?

The printer does not have a power switch. The printer is ready to use when the AC adaptor is connected.

Why can't I get good results when stamping small font text?

Small font text and fine lines may not work well when stamping. Depending on the text and the font you use, you may not be able to achieve good stamp results when using very thin lines, even though they look good in the preview image. The best selection for small text is a Sans Serif Font, which uses mostly thick lines. This is a better choice than a font like Garamond, which also includes fine lines. Note that reducing the size of an illustration may cause thinning of its lines and make it unsuitable for use in a stamp.

Can only the face part of a photograph be included in a stamp?

Yes. Use the image trimming function of the printer's special application software to extract the part of the image you want.

Can a stamp be created from a photograph?

Yes. There are 15 image Effect Types from which you can choose. You can also add text and a frame to an image to create an original stamp design.

Yes. JPEG, PNG, and BMP file images can be used in stamps.

Can the font used for text be changed after it is input?

Can a stamp be created from an illustration drawn on paper?

Yes. Simply digitize the illustration with a digital camera or a scanner. For a hand-drawin illustration, use of the "Scan of sketch" effect type is recommended to convert a scanned image to a stamp image.

Yes. Text and illustrations can be combined to create a variety of different stamps.

The printer does not have a power switch. Turn on power by touching the printer's screen. Power is turned off automatically if no operation is performed for a preset amount of time.

Can labels be used as sticky notes?

Yes. Margins can be added before or after printed text, so the tape can be folded and used as a sticky note in a book or document.
