Charging and power supply

To what degree can I expect the lithium-ion battery deteriorate?

If you frequently use GPS and heart rate measurements with repeated charging and discharging, deterioration of the battery will be similar to that of a Smartphone.? If you do not use GPS or heart rate measurements often, only the solar battery will be charged, and the charge/discharge balance will be minimal, so less deterioration is likely.? The watch is designed to maintain about 80% battery capacity even after 500 full charge cycles.

Is it possible to charge using only solar when the battery is low?

Depending on conditions, solar charging may take a long time when the battery level is below MID. In such cases, we recommend charging via USB.

Is it possible to purchase an AC adapter and charging cable?

An AC adapter is not included. Please charge using a computer or from a USB terminal.? Please verify your charging cable with the Service liaison.?

I cannot charge the watch with the charging cable.

・Please try connecting it to the USB port (Type-A) of another device for charging. ・Please use a USB port (Type-A) that complies with the USB standard (Voltage: 5V, Current: 0.5A or higher). ? *There are certain specifications for USB-AC adapters and other USB power supply devices. Please do not use those that do not comply with the specifications as they may cause malfunctions or failures of this device or the USB power supply device. ・Is there any dirt or foreign objects attached to the connection part of the charging port or charging cable? Please clean the connection part of the charging port and charging cable using a dry, clean cotton swab or cloth, and then try connecting the charging cable again to see if it can charge. ・Are you trying to charge it in extremely low or high temperature environments? Charging in extreme temperature environments can cause deterioration of the internal battery, so charging will automatically stop for protection. Charging will automatically resume when the ambient temperature returns to normal. We recommend charging within a range of 5°C to 35°C ambient temperature.

The screen disappears and I can't charge even when I connect the charging cable.

If left for a few months after the LOW (L1 or L2) mark appears, the battery will become over-discharged and cannot be charged. The battery needs to be replaced. Please contact the “Repairs Liaison” or the store where you purchased the product.

Charging stops halfway through.

If an abnormality occurs during charging, charging may stop. Remove the charging cable from the watch, check that everything is working properly, and then try re-charging.

Can I use the watch while charging with a mobile battery?

We do not recommend charging with a mobile battery due to safety concerns.
