See-through LCD: Offering a peek of the circuit board
See-through material is used for the LCD to let the underlying circuit board show through. On the exclusively developed circuit board, the metal LSI cover has gold IP applied to it and is engraved with four stars to commemorate four decades of G-SHOCK. Together with the G mark and G-SHOCK logo that adorn the circuit board, these design features add a playful touch that can be seen from the outside. This novel design is achieved by using an LED backlight and transparent light guide plate.

Special design commemorating 40 years of G-SHOCK
The words “SINCE 1983” are printed on the watch face. Gold IP is applied to the metal band loop or clasp, which is adorned with four stars, and the case back is engraved with a 40th anniversary commemorative logo.
Special packaging: Eco-consciousness embodied
Made with recycled materials to help conserve the environment, the specially designed packaging is shaped like the G in G-SHOCK. Recycled paper and vegetable ink is used for the outer box.
