EDIFICE SOSPENSIONE

EFS-S640PB-1AV

My GShock

Fine-tune your style and sophistication with a solar-powered chronograph boasting a carbon fibre-reinforced resin case with a suspension arm design, plus a carbon fibre dial and a sapphire crystal. Taking the high-performance motorsports concept all the way to the finish line, the solar panels are meticulously designed to pull in plenty of light through the small apertures in the inset dials, generating enough energy to keep this timepiece operating at normal use for some five months when fully charged. The case in carbon fibre-reinforced resin is lightweight, yet strong. The smaller diameter of the case makes for an easy, comfortable fit. This is a timepiece that embodies the Speed & Intelligence of the EDIFICE line with a sophisticated combination of materials, design, and functionality.

Carbon fibre-reinforced resin case with suspension arm design

Unique case design with a motif inspired by formula car suspension. Just like the four-arm suspension used in race cars, with two arms above and two below, the lugs are configured in a four-arm arrangement. Carbon fibre-reinforced resin is used as the case material, delivering both strength and lightness.

Carbon fibre dial for functional beauty

The dial is made with carbon fibre, a high-performance material used in racing cars. The solar panels behind the three inset dials generate plenty of power, allowing an opaque material to be used for the handsome main dial.

Solar charging system to convert light to energy

Generates ample power for smooth operation of various functions from sunlight or even light from fluorescent lamps. Optimisation of the rechargeable battery capacity and a power-efficient internal system design allow approximately five months of operation from a full charge without solar charging.
