Truth to origin and constant innovation: Full metal shock-resistant structure
Buffering components made of fine resin are installed between the stainless-steel bezel and case. The shock-resistant structure maintained since the very first G-SHOCK is achieved in a timepiece with a metal exterior, featuring a screw-lock case back to ensure a tight seal.

A hairline finish is applied to the bezel top and a mirror finish to the bevelled edges to enhance the texture of the metal to the fullest degree. Black IP is applied to the bezel and band on the GM-B2100BPC and GMW-B5000BPC.

Band connection structure
The double-lug structure conventionally used to connect the band to the case has been redesigned to create a three-pronged lug structure. Shocks to the connecting pipes and button shafts are dispersed, and the band attachment is reinforced.
