The distinctive metallic tone produced by the vapour deposition pleasantly complements the silver gleam of the full-metal exterior to add a stylish flair to the wrist. Dual-layer dial construction is employed to present the inset dial and LCD portion with distinct finishes of their own. With a minute grind-mark finish and vapour deposition applied to the inset dial ring and more, precision die moulding technologies applied by Yamagata Casio deliver meticulously detailed surface finishes. In addition, vapour deposition applied to the dimensional index marks and the indicator hand emphasises the metallic texture, creating a dial design that complements the watch’s metal exterior.

Buffering components made of fine resin are installed between the stainless-steel bezel and case. The shock-resistant structure maintained since the very first G-SHOCK is achieved in a timepiece with a metal exterior. Also, a three-pronged structure is employed for the connective part of the band to disperse shocks to the connecting pipes. Dimpling is applied to metal band pieces to reproduce the look of the resin band design of the very first G-SHOCK. The case back features a screw-lock construction that ensures a tight seal.

The bezel and case undergo meticulous processes of forging, cutting, and polishing, precisely crafting them into robust, powerful forms, down to the intricately shaped back, which is the key to the precision fit. A hairline finish is applied to the bezel top and a mirror finish to the bevelled edges to maximise the textural appeal of the metal.
