SADOKEI, the “Sauna Watch,” is a wristwatch designed specifically for sauna enthusiasts. Inspired by Japan’s unique sauna culture, it is engineered with features that allow you to fully enjoy high-heat, high-humidity environments with confidence. With a single button, you can switch between Sauna Mode and Standard Time Mode. Sauna Mode includes a 12-minute counter, supporting the Japanese tradition of enjoying a sauna session as a set: sauna -> cold bath -> rest. The 12-minute dial found in many sauna rooms serves as a guide, while the actual duration and number of sets can be adjusted according to room temperature and personal condition. The minimalist dial and luminous hands make it easy to read the time even in dimly lit sauna rooms. Built to withstand temperatures up to 100°C (212°F), the watch features a heat-resistant battery that helps protect internal components from high temperatures. The exterior is made of non-metallic resin, and the single metal screw is designed so it never touches the skin. Moisture-resistant resin helps maintain a clear view inside the watch. The distinctive coil-style band is inspired by the locker key straps commonly found in Japanese saunas. It brings a subtle touch of sauna culture into everyday life. Suitable Environment Designed for sauna use (up to 100°C / 212°F) for a maximum of 15 minutes per session when worn on the wrist. Note: Do not leave the watch unattended in the sauna. Doing so may result in overheating or burns. Usage Notes / Precautions ・Use only in saunas below 100°C (212°F) ・Always wear on wrist during use; do not leave the watch unattended. ・Light use before sauna sessions (e.g., quick showers or warm-up baths) is acceptable. However, please avoid regular use in baths, hot springs, or hot tubs, as this may cause water resistance to degrade or lead to fogging. ・Rinse gently with fresh water after each use.
