Retro pop calculator watches: Modelled after the CQ-1 combination clock-calculator
This trio of CA-500 watches pays homage to the CQ-1, a calculator with a clock function Casio introduced in 1976. The unique face design, featuring a full keypad, captures the look of the historic original calculator's colour scheme and design, down to the most intricate details.
The CQ-1 combination clock-calculator
This popular, personal-sized digital clock with innovative functionality debuted in 1976. Designed to accommodate people's daily schedules, starting with getting up in the morning, the CQ-1 featured a unique combination of four functions: time display (a clock); time memory (an alarm); time measurement (a stopwatch); and time calculation (a calculator). This memorable product served as a launching pad for subsequent Casio combined-function development.
