G-SHOCK: Innovative watch technology

For 40 years, the CASIO G-SHOCK has been a symbol of robustness, innovative technology and striking designs. It was developed in 1983 by Kikuo Ibe, who wanted to create a watch that could withstand extreme conditions in accordance with the ‘Triple 10’ concept: 10 years of battery life, drop resistance from a height of 10 metres and water resistance up to 10 bar.
