Terms and Conditions for the CASIO WATCHES EU (CASIO Europe GmbH) Instagram Contest

1. 1. CASIO Europe GmbH - Casio-Platz 1 - 22848 Norderstedt - Germany (hereinafter CASIO) is conducting an Instagram contest with a subsequent draw of 4 CASIO Watches: LA700WEM.
2. 2. The contest is not sponsored, supported, or organized by Instagram. Instagram is not responsible for any content published as part of this contest. Instagram is merely the platform on which CASIO is hosting the contest. The communication will take place via Instagram.
3. 3. Participation in the contest is only possible after acknowledging these terms and conditions. By participating in the contest, the participant accepts these terms and conditions.
4. 4. Participation in the Instagram contest takes place from April 5, 2026, to April 10, 2026 (12:00 AM).
5. 5. Only natural persons who are at least 18 years old at the time of their participation and reside in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, or France are eligible to participate. Each participant may only enter under their own name and must provide complete and truthful information.
6. 6. The contest is organized by CASIO through the Instagram profile @casio_watches_eu. All persons who like the contest post and leave a comment with their all-time favorite CASIO watch will participate in the contest. The winner will then be selected among the participants who meet these requirements through a random draw.
7. 7. Prizes: A total of 4 CASIO Watches: LA700WEM (4 different colors) will be drawn. The prize will only be awarded to participants who like the contest post, and leave a comment with their all-time favorite CASIO watch thereby fulfilling these participation conditions.
8. 8. CASIO expressly reserves the right to exclude participants who violate these terms and conditions from participating.
9. 9. The winner will be contacted via private message (Direct Message) on Instagram one day after the end of the contest, on April 10, 2026. This message will contain all information regarding the prize processing. CASIO assumes no liability if the prize notification is lost during electronic transmission and/or does not reach the winner due to reasons beyond CASIO's control. If the winner does not respond within 5 days and accepts the prize in writing, the winner loses all rights to the prize and a new winner will be drawn. An unconfirmed prize will not be awarded. The prize claim is not transferable. After CASIO receives successful feedback from the winner, the prize will be sent after the address is provided.
10. 11. CASIO will only collect, process, store, or otherwise use the customer data (Instagram profile name, first and last name, and address for correspondence and sending the prizes) received in connection with the contest for the purpose of processing the contest. The collection, storage, and processing of data are carried out by CASIO or on the part of the networks used for the contest in accordance with Instagram's guidelines. For the purpose of prize processing, CASIO or a third party commissioned for this purpose is entitled to collect and store the necessary data and to transmit it to the respective cooperation partner, who is also entitled to store the data for the purpose of prize processing. No further disclosure of your personal data to third parties will occur. By participating in the contest, you agree to the use of your personal data to the extent described above. All personal data provided will be treated as strictly confidential, used solely for the proper conduct and processing of the contest, and completely deleted no later than three months after full processing.
11. 12. The information will not be disclosed or passed on to any other third-party company or any other third parties for promotional purposes without the express permission of the participant. 
12. 13. CASIO reserves the right to terminate the contest at any time. This applies in particular if the proper execution cannot be guaranteed for technical reasons (e.g., due to manipulation of the contest).
13. 14. If, in exceptional cases where it is not possible to deliver a prize as presented, CASIO reserves the right to replace the prize with another prize.
14. 15. The prize is not transferable. Legal recourse is excluded. A cash payout of the prize is not possible.
15. 16. CASIO employees and their relatives are excluded from participation. Employees of agencies commissioned to organize this contest are also excluded from participation. Participation must be personal. Participation in the contest through third parties, particularly third parties who register individuals commercially with various telecommunication service providers (registration services or entry services), is not permitted.
16. 17. Participation in the contest is free of charge and is not subject to the purchase of a CASIO watch.
17. 18. The parties hereby deem the place of jurisdiction to be the general place of jurisdiction of Casio Europe GmbH, insofar as this is legally permissible. German law applies exclusively. In the event that individual provisions of these terms and conditions of participation are or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining terms and conditions of participation.
18. 19. Solely CASIO Europe GmbH is the operator and responsible for the contest.
