Differences Between "Part-Time Connection" and "Automatic Connection"
CASIO Bluetooth-enabled watches have two types of connection modes.
• Before connecting, you need to install the dedicated app on your phone and complete the pairing process.
How to Check Your Watch’s Connection Type
CASIO WATCHES App:
Go to the "My Watch" tab > Tap your watch model. > Check whether "Automatic Connection" is displayed below "Connected" / "Not Connected."
• If "Automatic Connection" is NOT displayed, your watch uses Part-Time Connection. Example: GA-B2100 (User’s Guide No. 5689)
• If "Automatic Connection" is displayed, your watch uses Automatic Connection. Example: DW-H5600 (User’s Guide No. 3516)
Features
• You can connect your watch to your phone with a single touch, only when needed.
While connected, you can easily change watch settings from the app.
If no operation is performed for a certain period while connected, the connection will automatically terminate.
• Your watch automatically connects to your phone to update its time setting four times a day.
• When you travel to a different time zone, you can quickly have your watch adjust to your new local time by connecting it to your phone.How to Connect
Tap the menu you want to configure, which will cause operating instructions to appear on the display. Follow the on-screen guidance to operate your watch and establish the connection.
