Troubleshooting  for Smartphone connectivity issues (Xiaomi)

The operation related to smartphone connectivity may become unstable depending on the settings of your smartphone.
Changing the settings may improve or stabilize the operation.

*This page is based on the "CASIO WATCHES" app, but the information regarding smartphone settings is applicable to other CASIO watch apps as well. Please make use of it.
*Changes to the settings may cause your smartphone's battery level to decrease more quickly.
*The settings menu may differ depending on the model and OS version.
*The information in the settings menu on smartphones is as of May 2024.

・Remove the app's "Battery saver" restrictions.
 1. Select [Settings] > [Apps] > [CASIO WATCHES] > [Battery saver]
 2. Set background settings to "No restrictions"

・Turn off "Battery Saver" and "Ultra Battery Saver"
 1. Select [Settings] > [Battery] > [Current mode]
 2. Select "Performance mode"
 *Do not set "Battery saver" or "Ultra battery saver"

・Turn on the app's "Autostart"
 
1. Select [Settings] > [Apps] > [Autostart]
 2. Turn on the “CASIO WATCHES” app setting.

・Enable the app's "Connection method"
 1. Select [Settings] > [Apps] > [CASIO WATCHES] > [Connection method]
 2. Enable both "WLAN" and "Mobile data"
 *Depending on the version of your smartphone's OS, there may be a menu for restricting data usage rather than setting the connection method.
   In that case, please make sure to set it so that communication is not restricted.
