After adding some numbers an "E" or "P" appears on the display. What do I do?

First, check the batteries, and ensure there is not a paper jam in the printer. If both are fine, then while the calculator is in the "Print" mode, press the [CA] (or [AC]) button 20 times consecutively to clear out memory buffers. Try some numerical calculations, and if the problem persists, repeat pressing the [CA] button 20 times. If the problem still persists, then the calculator may require service.

Why do I have problems printing with my thermal printing calculator (DR-T120/ DR-T220)?

Thermal printing calculators such as the DR-T120 and DR-T220 do not use ink. Instead, they require that you use thermal paper. If you attempt to use standard (not thermal) paper with one of these models, then you will not be able to print. Thermal paper is heat-sensitive. Printing is accomplished when the print head uses a heating element to heat the paper and create the printing, rather than using an ink roll or an ink ribbon. Standard paper is not heat-sensitive, so when the print head passes over it and heats it, there is no reaction from the paper, and therefore nothing appears on the paper. Thermal paper can be obtained from most office supply stores. Usually 2 1/4" or 58mm thermal paper is used (standard size).

If there is symbol "E" appears on the display during operations, but even press [CA] key cannot clear, what should I do?

This is not calculation error, please check the batteries/suitable voltage or whether there is any paper jam with the printer.

I accidentally erased my Add-in icons (Geometry, Picture Plot, and Conversion) . How do I get those back on my calculator?

Our suggestion, when resetting the calculator, is to reset the Setup Data and/or the Main Memory. But, if you happen to reset the Add-Ins and Storage, you will need to go to Casio Educational Online Service . Here, you will be able to download the Add-In software and the individual images and image series, to put back on your calculator. You will need to connect the calculator to the computer with the USB cable that came with the calculator.

What should I do when I need to restart updating because the cable becomes disconnected while updating was in progress?

Re-connect the cable. Updating should restart automatically. If it does not, disconnect the cable, press the P button or the RESTART button on the back of the calculator, and then connect the cable again.
