CASIO INTRODUCES NEW TIMEPIECES AT BASELWORLD 2016
New Additions Enhance Style and Variety of Popular Collections Such as G-SHOCK, BABY-G and EDIFICE
Messe Basel, Switzerland, March 17, 2016 - Casio America, Inc. is proud to unveil a variety of new models - including the company’s new Smart Outdoor Watch, the WSD-F10 - to its portfolio of high-performance timepieces. New G-SHOCK, EDIFICE, and BABY-G timepieces join the growing Casio collection and will be on display for the first time at Baselworld 2016 in Switzerland from March 17-24 in Hall 1.2, booth B13.

SMART OUTDOOR WATCH WSD-F10
Officially unveiled at Casio’s CES 2016 press conference in January, the WSD-F10 is the company’s first official entry into the smart watch category, and features a dual-layered LCD comprised of a color and monochrome touch display. The new watch utilizes the Android Wear™* platform and comes equipped with a wide range of useful apps and features that are perfect for a tech-savvy outdoor enthusiast. Users can check direction, altitude, atmospheric pressure, sunrise and sunset times, tide graphs and activity graphs, and more. They can also tap into apps such as email alert, weather, maps, voice search and more to help them stay connected while navigating the outdoors.
The EQB-600D-1A2 can connect to a smartphone with just one push of a button through Casio’s Mobile Link Technology. By downloading the CASIO WATCH+ app and connecting to a compatible smartphone via Bluetooth® SMART, the watch can access the correct time in its current location and for over 300 cities worldwide, even correcting for Daylight Saving Time if needed. Designed for business travelers, the EQB-600D-1A2 has a Dual Dial Display, which is ideal for the man who spends a lot of time in the air or on the road. This timepiece’s main dial displays the Home Time (the time and date of the user’s current location), while the inset 3D Globe Dial displays the current time zone in of the selected world time city. Using a separate inset dial at the 8 o’clock position, users can also view the world time in a 12-hour format.
BABY-G BGA-220 and Tri Color Series
During the show, Casio will introduce six new BABY-G watches including the BGA-220-7A, BGA-220G-7A, BGA-110TR-7B, BA-120TR-7B, BGA-185TR-7A and BA-110TR-7A. Geared for women who love beach glamping, the BABY-G BGA-220 watches are shock resistant and water resistant up to 200 meters, and equipped with tide & moon indicators, thermometer, 3D index, LED light, world time, daily alarms, stopwatch and more. The BGA-220-7A is designed with a white band, silver stainless steel bezel and white hands, whereas the BGA-220G-7A has a white band, pink-gold IP stainless steel bezel and black hands.
As part of the new Tri Color Series, the BGA-110TR-7B, BA-120TR-7B, BGA-185TR-7A and BA-110TR-7A are modeled after G-SHOCK’s popular white Tri Color series. With crisp white bands and a patriotic red, white and blue motif, the new watches are perfect accessories for summer activities and Independence Day festivities. Additionally, each model is outfitted with a LED light, world time, daily alarms, countdown timer, stopwatch, and more.
A wide array of G-SHOCK timepieces will be showcased at Casio’s booth. The Master of G Series has new introductions for Gulfmaster, Frogman, and Gravitymaster, G-LIDE including the Marble Camo collection, and the full G-STEEL range including the new 2nd capsule to the collection.
The Basel Special MRG-G1000HT-1A Atomic Solar Hybrid featuring “Tsu-iki” Hammer Treatment will make its debut, as will the MTG-G10000AR-1A GPS Atomic Solar Hybrid with Rose Gold Aged IP Treatment.
