FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
CASIO PUTS INNOVATION ON DISPLAY AT THE 2015 INTERNATIONAL CONSUMER ELECTRONICS SHOW
LAS VEGAS, NV, January 6, 2015 –Casio America, Inc. is excited to announce that it will exhibit an extended portfolio of products during the 2015 International CES, in Las Vegas, NV, from January 6-9, 2015. Casio will be located in the Central Hall, booth #11006.
“This year, Casio’s booth at the 2015 International CES show will highlight a variety of new products that were imagined and brought to life by combining innovative thinking with the company’s long history of delivering electronics products,” said Shigenori Itoh, CEO of Casio America, Inc. “From Hybrid GPS timepieces to freestyle cameras to on-the-go DJ equipment, Casio’s CES products will raise the bar for creative innovation.”
The booth’s main exhibit will showcase Casio’s full portfolio of men’s timepieces, including the ever-popular G-SHOCK, EDIFICE and Oceanus collections. Casio’s Gravitymaster GPW-1000 series of G-SHOCK watches offers the world’s first GPS atomic solar hybrid* with CASIO-original GPS Hybrid radio-controlled technology built inside a TRIPLE G Shock Resistant structure. This unique technology combines Multi-band 6 capability to receive any one of six time calibration signals around the globe with a receiver that acquires position and time information from GPS satellites. This G-SHOCK watch is gaining acclaim as a next-generation watch with an advanced hybrid timekeeping system. Casio’s Gravitymaster GPW-1000 series is available at select retailers nationwide for $950.
The elegant, new Casio OCEANUS OCW-G1000 watch also offers the hybrid timekeeping system. This system enables the timepieces to determine a user’s current location anywhere in the world and correct the time accordingly with just one push of a button. The combination of these two capabilities creates a hybrid timepiece designed and engineered to ensure that you are on time all the time, no matter where you happen to be.
The latest addition to the EXILIM family of digital cameras, the EX-FR10, boasts a modular construction that can be separated easily into two parts—the camera unit and the LCD-equipped controller—making it possible to take various kinds of interesting shots including self-portraits and group shots. The innovative modular design enables “freestyle shooting” of photos without the constraints of holding the camera and pressing the shutter. The detached camera unit can be easily fixed anywhere using one of several attachments and allowing users to shoot photos from all-new angles.
Electronic Musical Instruments
Casio’s new Trackformer series of DJ equipment enables aspiring DJ’s and musicians to emulate their favorite DJs and producers. With the XW-DJ1 DJ Controller and XW-PD1 Groove Center, dance music fans can create, mix and play or produce their favorite tracks on their own. The XW-DJ1 DJ Controller allows users to enjoy the popular ‘scratching’ DJ style when mixing and creating tracks, while the XW-PD1 features preset patterns produced by professional beat makers that cover dance music genres like Trap and EDM. The XW-DJ1 DJ Controller will be available at select retailers nationwide beginning January 2015 for an MSRP of $299.00; and the XW-PD1 Groove Center will be available beginning March 2015 for an MSRP of $399.00.
