DOVER, NJ, May 5, 2016 - As the weather gets warmer and Mother’s Day approaches, Casio America, Inc. is offering a great gift option for consumers to show their appreciation for Mom. The company’s new STLS300H-1C Ladies Solar Runners watch offers a variety of features that make it the perfect accessory for any fitness activity.

“Casio knows that Mom spends all year working hard, so Mother’s Day is the perfect time to give her something that is not only functional but fashionable too," said David Johnson, Vice President of Casio’s Timepiece Division. “Whether she is hitting the treadmill or the trails, Casio’s new STLS300H-1C combines great features like Tough Solar Power and Lap Memory 120 with a classic, versatile design for seamless use while exercising."

Powered by light, the STLS300H-1C uses Casio’s Tough Solar Power technology which eliminates the need for frequent battery changes. After a full-charge, the timepiece has a battery life of approximately three months without further exposure to light. It can even be charged in low or fluorescent light. In addition, the STLS300H-1C features a 120-lap memory stopwatch function with a large and convenient front button for easy operation during sprints and long distance runs. It also features four daily alarms, a 1/100 second stopwatch, a countdown timer, world time for 48 different cities, and water resistance up to 100 meters.

Casio’s STLS300H-1C features a round display face and large, high-contrast numbers making it easy to read and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. It also comes equipped with a LED backlight so wearers can view information in low-light conditions. Designed with a black resin band and pink accents, the STLS300H-1C is available now at select retailers nationwide for a MSRP of $49.95. For more information on Casio’s timepieces, please visit
