GEAR UP FOR THE GREAT OUTDOORS WITH CASIO PRO TREK WATCHES
PRO TREK PRG300 Transforms for Summer with New Orange and Grey Color Options

Dover, NJ, May 25, 2016 - Just in time for June and the start of Great Outdoors Month, Casio America, Inc. is excited to launch two new color ways for its PRO TREK PRG300 timepiece. Now available in orange and grey, the PRG300-4 and PRG300-8 are ideal for a wide range of outdoor adventures from hiking and biking, to camping and kayaking.

“With summer on the horizon and Great Outdoors Month beginning in June, there is no better time to get outside to camp, fish, rock climb and more,” said David Johnson, vice president of Casio’s Timepiece Division. “Having a triple sensor watch on your wrist while out navigating mountain peaks or angling at your local riverbed is useful because it will analyze your surroundings and aid in keeping track of where you are, as well as provide the current and upcoming weather while on your journey. The new models offer outdoor enthusiasts versatility in stylish, vibrant colors, while providing a feature-set built to experience life’s most exciting adventures.”

The PRO TREK PRG300-4 and PRG300-8 offer Casio’s Triple Sensor Version 3 Technology, which provides outdoor enthusiasts with fast, precise data readings to help navigate through any adventure. The timepieces include a direction sensor for compass readings, pressure sensor for altimeter/barometer readings and a thermo sensor for temperature readings, enabling the user to effortlessly monitor all the needed information on outdoor conditions. Furthermore, with Casio’s Tough Solar Power technology, users can charge the timepiece in low or fluorescent light, eliminating the need for continuous battery replacement. It will also power down when not exposed to light for a certain period of time, thus conserving energy.

In addition, the PRG300 also boasts water resistance up to 100 meters, sunrise and sunset data, world time (31 Time Zones / 48 cities + UTC), a full auto LED Super Illuminator light with afterglow, four Daily Alarms and 1 Snooze Alarm, 1/10-second stopwatch, countdown timer, power saving function, and more.

The PRO TREK PRG300-4 and PRG300-8 will be available this June for a MSRP of $250 at select jewelers and retailers nationwide. For additional information on Casio’s PRO TREK series of timepieces, please visit www.ProTrek.Casio.com.
