Follow these steps to activate your Moflin for the first time:
After purchasing your Moflin, you might wonder how to charge it for the first time. Here are some simple steps to get started.
Plug the included AC adapter into the Moflin Bed and then into a household power outlet. The white LED will light up once it’s connected. Ensure the bed is on a flat surface and not obstructed or at an angle.
Position your Moflin with its rear at the end of the Bed where the LED is. Lay it horizontally so its belly touches the bottom of the Bed. Adjust until the LED lights orange to start charging. You may need to softly push downward on the Moflin to fully engage the charging bed. Moflin will not charge unless it is positioned correctly and the LED is orange.
Your Moflin will begin to move as it charges. When fully charged, the LED turns green. Charging takes approximately 3.5 hours at 25°C (time may vary with temperature).
Typically, Moflin’s battery lasts for around 5 hours. When the battery runs low, your Moflin may begin to shiver and make soft crying sounds. If the level drops lower, they’ll become quiet and eventually shut down. Simply place Moflin in the charging bed to recharge.
Your Moflin will automatically switch back on after charging for a short time. You can use the MofLife APP to check the remaining battery level. It’s advised to avoid placing the Moflin Bed near water, in direct sunlight, in very high or low temperatures, or on uneven surfaces.
If you are concerned about Moflin’s fur, gently brush them with a soft brush. Be careful not to brush too hard, as this may damage or pull out the fur. If Moflin gets dirty, gently wipe off your Moflin using a cloth that has been moistened with water.
When not in use, store Moflin in a comfortable spot where the temperature is neither too hot nor too cold, such as a bedside table, shelf, or desk. If Moflin will be unused for an extended period, be sure to charge it every 3 to 6 months to prevent the battery from undercharging.
To ensure long-term use of your Moflin, please keep the following points in mind:
● Do not apply excessive force or interfere with Moflin’s movements.
● Do not drop it, place heavy objects on it, or subject it to strong impacts (avoid strong shocks).
● Avoid using or storing the product in the following types of environments:
○ Extremely hot or cold places outside the recommended operating temperature range (5°C–35°C).
○ Locations exposed to direct sunlight, high humidity, dust, or sand.
○ Areas where the temperature or humidity fluctuates drastically, such as near air-conditioning or heating units.
○ Inside a car during the day or places with excessive vibration.
○ Near water or in damp environments.
