Casio Sessions Terms and Conditions
1. Casio Sessions is a performance based, open mic style competition for piano playing singer songwriters to showcase original compositions and material.
2. Casio Sessions is run by Casio Electronics Co.Ltd of The Hive Building, 26 Wembley Park Boulevard, Wembley Park, Wembley, HA9 0HP address.
3. Any performers who wish to take part in the Casio Sessions event are invited to submit an application and audition via the following link www.casio.co.uk/emi/casio-sessions - All information regarding the event can be found on this page.
4. The cut off for final submissions is 16th August 2026. Any submissions received after this deadline will not be considered.
5. All entrants must be 18 years of age or over on the 23rd September 2026, and must bring a valid supporting ID (passport, id card or UK driver's license)
6. The competition is open to individual performers only.
7. The competition will be divided into two parts. The first part is an initial submission audition of your own pre-recorded material to be uploaded to YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, Instagram (or any social platform) and the link included in your application form. This submission will be reviewed by a panel of judges who will award points based on set criteria including but not limited to:
- song structure
- melody, dynamics, contrast, hook
- lyrical creativity
- performance
- communication
- accuracy of vocals
- charisma
- stage/performance presence
8. Successful candidates will be selected to perform and compete in a live final to be held at Ninety One Living Room, Truman Brewery, 91 Brick Lane, E1 6QL. A total of twelve (12) acts will be asked to perform on the final night on Wednesday 23rd September 2026. While Casio Electronics Co. Ltd will do its best to cater for all accessibility needs on the night, it cannot guarantee any specific provisions will be made as accessibility management is the responsibility of the venue and not Casio Electronics Co. Ltd.
9. If you are successful and progress to the live final, you are required to perform the song you submit as your audition.
10. Each successful applicant who makes it through to the live final may bring a maximum of eight (8) guests to support them at the event on 23th September 2026.
11. Successful candidates must bring a valid ID to show at entry of the event to confirm proof of age.
12. All selected artists will be expected to perform using the Casio PX-S7000 on the final live event. Any keyboard or piano can be used for your video audition.
13. We encourage all entrants to perform stripped back, piano based- acoustic style versions of any original material. No cover songs permitted.
14. All live final performances should be no longer than 6 minutes long. Casio UK reserves the right to halt any performances at the live final which exceed this time limit and points may be deducted from your performance.
15. Racist, homophobic, or any intentionally malicious content or lyrics are not allowed.
16. Once all performances are complete there will be a short interlude where the judging panel will deliberate and decide on a winner.
17. All performers must make arrangements to travel and attend the live event at their own cost - Casio is not liable to cover any travel expenses.
18. The venue bar will be open, serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and light snacks. All will be obtained at your own expense and Casio will not be providing complimentary refreshments. Alcoholic beverages will only be served to those providing proof of ID.
19.1 The winner of the Casio Sessions live final will receive a brand new Casio Privia PX-S7000HM - Harmonious Mustard (worth RRP £2,549) with a matching HIDRAU piano bench, a day in a recording studio to record a single chosen by the winner at Deadline Studios, Aylestone, Leicester, LE2 8TH, and a limited run of vinyl records with the recording made at Deadline Studios.
19.2 Casio Electronics Co. Ltd retains the right to keep a proportion of the limited run of vinyls for promotional use. There will be no cash alternative offered in lieu of the Casio PX-S7000HM prize, vinyl records or studio. Casio Electronics Co. Ltd will be in touch with the winner no later than a week after the event to arrange the recording session.
19.3 Casio Electronics Co. Ltd will contribute up to £150 towards the cost of travelling to Deadline Studios in Leicester on the agreed recording date and will cover all reasonable subsistence costs on the date of the recording session. The winner agrees to have their recording session filmed and recorded on the day and grants permission Casio Electronics Co. Ltd to share the content across all online and offline marketing channels for up to 2 years globally and in all Casio territories.
19.4 The vinyl prize is subject to the winner successfully attending the recording session arranged at Deadline Studios.
19.5 Once a date has been agreed for the recording session between Casio and the winner, this date cannot be changed. Should the winner fail to attend the agreed session, they will forfeit both the recording session and the 250 vinyl prize.
19.6 The winner agrees to put their winning single on Side A of the vinyl and has the option to choose the single for Side B. A wav file of this single must be submitted no later than 7 days following the recording session. Once submitted, these files cannot be changed and will be included on the vinyls. The winner agrees for the vinyl cover art to feature a Casio Sessions photo of their performance at the event alongside the Casio Sessions logo and their artist name.
20. The submission of an audition by no means provides an automatic place in the live event. However, all submissions will be given full consideration. Due to the high number of submissions, Casio Electronics Co. Ltd regrets that it cannot offer individual feedback on an individual basis.
21. By submitting an entry on the Casio Sessions registration page you agree to the following:
- That you retain all copyright and intellectual property of your own song and/or compositions and that you have permission to use and perform them in public.
- You give Casio Electronics Co. Ltd full permission to use your performance recording from the live final (both images and video) across all online and offline marketing channels for up to 2 years globally and in all Casio territories.

- The judges’ decision is final.
- Casio UK encourages a safe and positive environment for all performers and guests. You agree to respect fellow performers. Insulting and derogatory behaviour may lead to ejection from the event by security.
22. Casio Electronics Co. Ltd. reserves the right to make any changes or void this promotion/ event at any time without incurring any liability whatsoever.
23. All entrants are deemed to be bound by the above terms and conditions for this live event. By submitting your performance for consideration, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
Data
- We intend to use your data in relation to the sign up and ongoing management of our Casio Sessions event(s). We may use this to communicate information around the mechanics of this event and future Casio Sessions events.
- We intend to keep your personal data for the duration of the Casio Sessions programme.
- Your data will be held for 7 years.
- You have the right to withdraw from the event at any time and request the removal of your personal information from our system and your registration to the scheme. You can do this by contacting Casio Electronics Co. Ltd.
