The bezel, crafted in a detailed, multi-step process of forging, cutting, and polishing, features a stunning finish with a circular hairline treatment on the top surface and mirror polish on the angled edges. The new GMC-B2100 features 3 inset chronograph dials on this fully analog face, for excellent legibility. The iconic octagonal design motif of the 2100 style is incorporated into the inset dial ring in the 9 o'clock position as well as the screw-down crown, adding a powerful sense of presence to the full-metal form of the watch. Fine resin buffering components are placed between the bezel and case to create a shock-resistant structure, all while maintaining a full-metal exterior. Multi-hand dial exuding functional beauty
The dial features an effective 6-9-12 inset dial layout. The mirror finish applied to the hands and the grind-polished indexes add further refinement. The inset dial ring at the 9 o’clock position features a design motif inspired by the iconic octagonal bezel of 2100 Style watches. For the GMC-B2100AD, light blue vapor deposition is applied across the surface of the dial for a fresh, crisp look.
Sophisticated metal form created with precision crafting
Undergoing meticulous processes of forging, cutting, and polishing, the bezel and case are precisely crafted down to the intricately shaped face, and also to the back, which is the key to the precision fit. With its tough, dimensional forged form, the bezel shines with an attractive circular hairline finish on its top surface. The band, which reproduces the dimpling of the very first G-SHOCK band, but now in metal, offers enhanced textures by using differentiated hairline and mirror finishes.
Full metal shock-resistant structure: Delivering both strength and beauty
The watch is guarded by a full metal exterior, with stainless steel material used for the bezel, case, and band. Fine resin buffering components are installed between the bezel and case to help absorb impacts to the module. Additionally, a three-pronged structure is employed for the lugs on the case to disperse shock to the connective part of the band.
Slim design achieved with high-density mounting
Employing a slim Tough Solar-powered timekeeping module with Bluetooth® connectivity, the watch maintains the same sense of size as the previous GM-B2100 while offering a wider range of functions and full-metal construction. While delivering high utility with Smartphone Link and Tough Solar functionality, the GMC-B2100 offers a comfortable fit on the wrist as well.
Octagonal screw-lock crown for a powerful sense of presence
The side of the case is fitted with a crown to complement the fully analog face design. The crown features a screw-lock construction and the same octagonal shape as the bezel, adding a powerful sense of presence to the full-metal form of the watch. This original structure delivers a more compact form while maintaining the same shock resistance.
