Crafted entirely from metal, the ring faithfully replicates the intricate details of a classic Casio watch at a fraction of the size.
Full Metal Design
Reproducing the Casio watch’s iconic form in a full-metal, ring-sized version required the use of metal injection molding (MIM). This method of metal processing injects fine metal powders into molds to craft the complex case shape and band holes with precision. Gold-colored ion-plating adds a beautiful finish and delivers better abrasion resistance. Employing a case, case back, and ring molded in a single piece and special glass adhesive technique, the watch is built to be water-resistant for daily use, while still allowing the battery to be replaced.

World innovator Casio began with the yubiwa pipe
Creative and innovative Casio continues adding to its long list of “world-firsts.” It all began with the yubiwa (finger ring) pipe, developed at Kashio Seisakujo, the predecessor of Casio Computer Co., Ltd. That revolutionary ring hit the market in 1946, right after World War II, and was a big hit. The profits would later go toward the capital needed for development of a new kind of calculator. The same ring styling of the new Casio ring watch is a nod to this very first product using original ideas and technologies to create new value.

G-Shock Ring Watches

Shock resistant and water resistant up to 20 bar, this ring-sized watch performs with the toughness of a full-on G-SHOCK, while still allowing the battery to be replaced.
Bio Based Resin Design
The watch module has been downsized by about a factor of 10 using high-density mounting technology and a miniature battery. Unique G-SHOCK construction is also employed, including the case made of glass fibre-reinforced resin for enhanced strength, the urethane bezel fully covering the case, and tight sealing measures incorporated throughout. Shock resistant and water resistant up to 20 bar, this ring-sized watch performs with the toughness of a full-on G-SHOCK, while still allowing the battery to be replaced.

The DWN-5600 delivers the iconic G-SHOCK 5600 shape in a ring-sized watch about one-tenth the size of a regular G-SHOCK.
The intricate shapes of the original bezel and band are precisely reproduced using unique molding technology. The buttons, buckle, and case back are all made with the same stainless steel as the original.
Just like a regular watch, the fit can be adjusted using the holes on the strap (from approx. 48 to 82 mm).
Special Packaging
Each G-SHOCK nano comes in a special package with a dedicated silicone stand, for a timepiece that’s infinitely wearable and collectible.
