Melissa’s journey with the piano began at age seven in her hometown in Cuba, when a neighbor noticed her natural musical instincts and encouraged her mother to enroll her in formal lessons. While classical training laid the foundation for her technique, she also loved popular styles, which gave her a flexible and creative approach. After relocating to the United States, she shifted her focus from traditional recitals to live event performances, discovering a deep love for connecting with audiences in more personal, meaningful settings.
