Steve Weingart

Casio Artist Steve Weingart has dazzled audiences with his masterful playing for over three decades, collaborating, performing and touring extensively with many of the biggest names in music.

A first-call keyboardist on the L.A. music scene, Steve has shared the stage with Chaka Khan,
Stanley Clarke, Victor Wooten, Randy Brecker, Ada Rovatti, Frank Gambale, Robben Ford and
David Sanborn, among many others. He has co-written songs, recorded albums and toured with
guitarist Steve “Luke” Lukather (Toto), as well as Dave Weckl and Simon Phillips, two of the most
respected drummers in the world.

His 2006 solo project, Dark Blue Dream, earned him high acclaim, as did his albums Dialogue and its successor, Observatory, which he co-wrote with his wife, bassist and vocalist
Renee Jones and co-produced with Simon Phillips.

Through it all, Casio’s keyboards and digital pianos have remained a constant in his touring
keyboard rig and home studio, playing a major supporting role in his artistic success.

“I blow people’s doors off when I arrive at the gig with a Casio,” admits Steve, recounting his
visits to his old stomping grounds in Cincinnati, Ohio. “Every person who gives up their
expectations of what they think Casio is, and they give it a try, every time, without fail, the
person who plays the Casio will be like, ‘WOW! I never thought that this could be a Casio.’”

This “aha” moment is particularly evident with his instruments of choice: the Casio Privia PX5S,
the Celviano GP-500 and the newest arrival, the Privia PX-S7000
