Veronica Lewis emerges as a distinct voice in music earning acclaim as "one of the most promising torchbearers of American Rock ‘n Roll," by American Songwriter.
At 20 years old, this singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist is already carving a niche for herself as a deeply complex, raw-energy artist. A multi-award-winning, #2 Billboard charting musician from the backwoods of New Hampshire, Veronica merges 90s alt-rock with modern indie-pop vibes. With her upcoming new album, Too Late For Tears, slated for release on August 16, 2024, Veronica’s sonic odyssey is part of the groundswell of female artists who are redefining the meaning of singer/songwriter in modern pop and rock, citing inspirations such as Soccer Mommy, Julia Jacklin, Snail Mail, Sharon Van Etten, Boy Genius, Alanis Morrisette, and Fiona Apple.
Veronica tours with a full band, writes all her material, plays piano, guitar, bass, and synths. Exploring the indie bedroom pop scene with her latest material, Veronica also takes on the role of producer on Too Late For Tears, retaining her autonomy, and cultivating authenticity in every aspect of her work.
Acknowledged as a prodigy, pianist, singer, and prolific songwriter as a teen. Veronica's journey is as unique as her sound. Growing up in a dichotomous blend of both rural isolation and the spotlights of national blues & roots stages, Veronica began her musical career at the age of 12, hitting stages and snagging awards for her early efforts. Named ‘Best Blues Act’ in 2021 by the Boston Music Awards. At age 17, Veronica released her DIY album, You Ain’t Unlucky, on Blue Heart Records, which received industry-wide acclaim, soaring to #2 on the Billboard Blues charts and #1 on iTunes Blues chart. The title track secured the #1 ‘Blues Song of The Year 2021’ on Root Music Report, while earning two Blues Music Nominations in 2022 for ‘Best Emerging Artist Album’ and ‘Piano Player of the Year’. Additionally, Veronica won the ‘Sean Costello Rising Star’ and ‘Best New Artist Debut Album’ at the BluesBlast Awards.
In 2021 Veronica put her first band together and hit the road honing her craft, growing up and learning about life from the road. She has toured nationally, playing countless main stages, including Briggs Farm Fest, The Rockabilly Weekender in Vegas, Rhythm & Roots, Peach Festival, Levitate Music Festival, Edmonton Blues Festival, and countless other main stages and spotlights.

Veronica's journey is not just about music; it's a journey of resilience. A bonafide nerd in school, she held the titles of both captain of the robotics team and was valedictorian. However, behind the professional and academic achievements lies a profound artist grappling with social awkwardness, body image issues, personal non-conformance and anxiety, channeling these struggles into her music with an authenticity that resonates deeply.
Veronica Lewis, with her soulful voice and authentic songwriting, crafts a compelling narrative on Too Late for Tears, inviting listeners to connect with the shared experiences of loss, empowerment, and the ongoing journey of self-discovery.
"My Privia PX-S has been a big part of my music for a few years now, both in my studio and on stage with me. It's a great controller, with natural-feeling action and keys. Having the right touch and action on a keyboard is super important to me, and I know I can always get the feel I need with my Privia. Plus, the lightweight, slim design makes it a go-to for touring.”
