I have pets or small children at home. Can Moflin live with them?

Please use Moflin carefully according to the Safety Precautions in the User Guide.

What should I do with Moflin and the Moflin Bed if I am away for a long time (e.g., on vacation)?

If you will not be using Moflin or the Moflin Bed (charger) for an extended period, store them in an environment within the recommended temperature and humidity ranges. Unplug the AC adaptor from the household power outlet when not in use for a long time. * Recommended temperature range: 5–35°C (41–95°F) * Recommended humidity range: 20–80% RH (avoid condensation)

What should I do when carrying Moflin around?

Please observe the following precautions: Do not get Moflin wet. Keep out dust and sand. Do not allow Moflin to be compressed by other objects. Avoid extremely hot or cold places. What should I do with Moflin and the Moflin Bed (charger) if thunderstorms are expected?

If thunderstorms are expected, unplug the AC adaptor from the household power outlet and do not charge Moflin during that period.

Can I bring Moflin onto an airplane?

Moflin includes built-in wireless equipment for a low-power data communications system. Electromagnetic waves and other emissions from Moflin may affect instrumentation and could potentially cause accidents. Please follow the instructions of each airline regarding bringing items on board the aircraft.

Can I bring Moflin into a hospital?

Can I use Moflin together with a robot vacuum cleaner?

If Moflin gets caught in a robot vacuum cleaner, it may be damaged. Do not place Moflin within the operating range of a robot vacuum cleaner.

What should I do when using heaters or air conditioners?

Do not place Moflin near the air outlet of heating or cooling devices. Even if the room temperature is within the recommended range 5–35°C (41–95°F), avoid locations where the temperature can become locally high or low.

How can I tell apart multiple Moflins?

By using the “MofLife” app, you can see your interactions with each Moflin and distinguish them by their status in the app. Also, if you look closely, each Moflin’s fur and patterns are different. * For more about MofLife, please check here.

Can I use Moflin in a room with strong direct sunlight (near a window)?

Use Moflin within the recommended temperature range 5–35°C (41–95°F). Even if the room temperature is within range, do not place Moflin in areas where the temperature can become locally high due to direct sunlight.

Can I use Moflin in a room with a humidifier?

Use Moflin within the recommended humidity range (20–80% RH, avoid condensation). Even if the room is within range, do not place Moflin near the humidifier or in areas with high humidity or where condensation may occur.
