Are there any precautions I should take when saying goodbye to (disposing of) Moflin?

The Moflin, their battery, charger, and AC adaptor should not be disposed of with household waste. Do not attempt to open or disassemble your Moflin. This symbol (crossed out wheeled-bin) means the products must not be discarded as household waste. Please dispose of your Moflin, charger, and AC adaptor according to local environmental regulations. Dispose of your Moflin, charger, and AC adaptor at an appropriate collection facility for recycling. For more information on disposal and recycling of these products, contact your local municipality, disposal service, your dealer, distributor, or CASIO America’s Customer Service team at cms@casio.com. With your cooperation in proper disposal, you will help conserve natural resources and protect human health and the environment. CAUTION: Do not handle damaged or leaking Lithium-Ion batteries. WARNING: Never dispose of batteries in a fire because they may explode.

How do I withdraw from CASIO ID?

From the “MofLife” app, go to Menu (≡) > [Account management] > [Withdraw from CASIO ID] to access the withdrawal page. Alternatively, you can access the withdrawal page from the My Page section of the CASIO ID website. Please follow the instructions on the withdrawal page to complete the process.

Can I dress Moflin in clothes or accessories?

For long-term safety and enjoyment, please do not put clothing or accessories on your Moflin. Especially when placing Moflin in the Moflin Bed, ensure nothing is attached.

Are there any optional items or related goods for Moflin?

There are currently no optional items or related goods for sale, but we are considering offering them in the future.

What does "Moflin Update" mean?

Moflin Update (Updating Moflin’s software) helps Moflin learn new things and improve stability, so you can enjoy a longer, safer life together. For information about updates, please check here. Important: We recommend updating the software to ensure safety and enjoyment with Moflin. After updating, Moflin’s behavior may change compared to before. Once updated, you cannot revert to the previous software version. For how to update Moflin’s software, please check here.

Is Moflin’s fur made from real animal fur?

No, Moflin’s fur does not use any real animal fur at all. The fur material is made from acrylic and contains no animal-derived materials, so you can rest assured.

What is the uploaded data used for?

Uploaded data is used to create Journal in the MofLife app, support product servicing, improve quality, and help restore your Moflin if a fault occurs.

Besides data from Moflin itself, what information does the MofLife app collect?

The app may collect information such as usage information, but it does not include any personally identifiable information. No data will be uploaded unless you agree to the privacy notice.

Does Moflin understand or record what I say?

No. Moflin does not understand or record what you say. They only convert voice features into non-identifiable data, which is stored locally and used to recognise frequent speakers as their owners.

Why does the app collect usage information?

Usage information is collected to help improve the app and fix bugs.

Is data from Moflin uploaded to a server?

Data can only be uploaded via the MofLife app and only when you choose to do so. It is then securely stored on a dedicated server.

How does Moflin handle the data it collects?

Collected data is processed locally on Moflin and does not include any personally identifiable information.
