MofLife (App)

The app shows a “Temperature error” screen. What should I do?

This error appears when Moflin’s temperature is too high or too low. Please move Moflin to an environment within the recommended operating temperature range 5–35°C (41–95°F) and try again after waiting for a while.

During registration, “Moflin can’t find their owner” is displayed. What should I do?

Please check the following and try registering again: If there are multiple Moflins nearby: Move the Moflin you want to register away from other Moflins before trying to register. If the registration procedure is incorrect: Please keep Moflin’s head lifted and the body vertical until you see “Moflin registered!” on the screen.

“Moflin not found” is displayed. What should I do?

Please check the following and try connecting again: Moflin’s power may be off. Stroke or hug Moflin to see if it is moving. If not, charge and turn it on. Bluetooth on your smartphone may be off. Turn on Bluetooth in your settings. Some phones require enabling Bluetooth for each app. Location or nearby device permissions may be off. Enable these permissions in your phone’s settings. Some phones require this for each app. Moflin may be paired with another smartphone. Moflin can only be paired with one smartphone at a time. Turn off Bluetooth or close the “MofLife” app on the other device before pairing. Registering with a new smartphone will unpair the previous one. There may be poor signal conditions. Try changing your location. Someone else may have registered (paired) with Moflin, or pairing was reset during Clinic (Repairs). If so, follow the steps provided here. If the problem persists, try the following two steps: Restart MofLife (close the app and reopen it).* Restart Moflin (turn off and on). *For how to close apps, refer to your smartphone’s User Guide.

“Moflin Update” or “Updating records” fails in MofLife. What should I do?

Please check the following and try again: There may be poor signal conditions. Try changing your location. Moving Moflin or your smartphone during the update may cause failure. Please keep both stationary. Opening other apps or closing MofLife during the update may cause failure. Avoid operating your phone during updates. Restart MofLife (close and reopen the app). Restart Moflin (turn off and on). If the issue persists, try: Restarting your smartphone (turn off and on). Reinstalling MofLife (uninstall and reinstall), then pair Moflin and try updating again.
