Are there any label width conditions when creating a QR code?

The size of a QR code depends on the number of characters specified for it. Label widths for the maximum allowable QR code size (Version 5) are shown below. KL-P350W:18 mm or greater tape size ・ When using a frame, a Version 5 size QR code will overlap with the frame.

How do I connect with the Access Point Mode?

(1) On the printer, press wireless Lan Key to turn on wireless LAN. This causes the wireless LAN lamp to flash green. (2) Use phone settings to specify the printer as the wireless LAN access point. ・ KL-P350W SSID (initial default): CASIO KLPC18 AP (3) Tap [⋅⋅⋅] of LABEL DESIGN MAKER. (4) Make sure the product you want to connect to [Model] is displayed. (5) If it is not displayed, tap [Model] and specify the product. (6) Tap [Print Settings]. (7) Next, tap the icon of the printer and specify the connection destination by printer search. (8) With the LABEL DESIGN MAKER phone app Print Settings, specify the printer to be connected. ・ KL-P350W Printer Name (initial default): My CASIO PC LABEL PRINTER 18 ・ When a connection is established, the printer’s wireless LAN lamp lights green.

Can characters be resized to dimensions such as 5X height, 1X width.

Text size cannot be changed by altering the character aspect ratio.

I am unable to receive mail.

While a phone or computer is connected over a wireless network using the printer's Access Point Mode, it will not be able to connect to an outside network. This means network-based data communication functions (such as email send and receive) will not be possible on your phone/computer. To connect to an outside network, restore the wireless LAN settings of your phone or computer to, or turn off printer power.

The following message is displayed: "Data storage is full. Edited labels cannot be saved. Edit anyway?"

Only 200 data entries can be stored. If you want store more data, you will have to delete some past data.

What are the specifications of QR codes?

・ Version: Auto (5 maximum) ・ Error Level: Medium

The following error message appears: "Check the tape size."

・ The tape width of the label you want to print may be different from the tape width of the loaded cartridge. Load a tape width that matches that of the label you are printing. Correctly load the tape cartridge.

I am unable to print a bar code label that also includes text.

With a tape width of 12 mm or greater, you will be able to print text along with a bar code. Bar code printing example: JAN/EAN-13 bar code with text below. (1) Tap the bar code. On the window that appears, tap [Create barcode]. (2) Tap "Type/Data" and then select "JAN/EAN-13". (3) Tap "Data" and then input the data. After you are finished, tap "Confirm" and then tap "OK". (4) Turn on "Print Text".

How do I connect using WPS in the Client Mode?

Connect using the WPS button of the wireless LAN router/access point. (1) On the printer, hold down wireless Lan key for at least three seconds. This puts the printer into simple connection standby, which is indicated by the wireless LAN lamp flashing green, in two quick flash bursts. (2) Within about the next two minutes, press the WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) button of the wireless LAN router/access point you are using. (3) When a connection is established, the printer’s wireless LAN lamp lights green. ・ Wireless LAN will turn off if connection cannot be established within two minutes.

How do I change the language?

Use your phone to change the language setting. Languages supported by the app are Japanese, English, and Thai.

The following error message appears: "Printer not found."

Noise or some other problem may have caused wireless LAN communication to time out. Use the printer's power key to turn power off and then back on again. Next, try establishing a wireless LAN connection again. [In the Access Point Mode] ・ If the printer is not turned on, your phone may connect with another access point or wireless LAN settings may otherwise be changed. On your phone, perform the following operation to check if it is connected with the printer: [Settings] - [Wi-Fi]. ・ The printer and phone may be too far away from each other. Move closer to the printer and try again. [In the Client Mode ] ・ The printer may be turned off. Turn the Printer back on again. ・ The printer may not be connected with the wireless LAN network. Check whether the printer is connected with the applicable wireless LAN network. If connection is still not possible after taking the above steps, perform the operation below. (1) Turn off the wireless LAN router or access point, and the printer. (2) Turn off your phone's Wi-Fi settings. (3) Turn on the wireless LAN router or access point. (4) Turn on the printer. (5) Turn on your phone's Wi-Fi settings and re-connect.

When converting a color image to monochrome, can dithering and gamma be adjusted?

Select "Simple binary" or "Error Diffusion" as the method used for converting color images to binary data. ・Dithering cannot be adjusted.

The following message appears when using numbering: "Check the setting range."

Up to 99 copies of a label can be printed at one time. Configure settings so the difference between the start number and the end number is 99 or less.

Though I added a frame to a label, the frame does not print. ?

Though a frame can be added to a 3.5mm and 6mm wide label, the frame will not print.

When printing an image, some areas that should be dark are white.

Select "Error Diffusion".

How do I create a folder?

(1) Tap the far left tab (folder icon). (2) Tap [Edit]. (3) Tap [Create folder]. (4) On the "Create folder" screen that appears, input the folder name and then tap [Finish]. This creates the new folder.

I can't select images elements.

An image element cannot be selected when the tape width is 9 mm or less. Set the tape width to 12 mm or greater.

Are there restrictions on the smart device's screen resolution?

We recommend the following. iPhone : 640 ｘ 1136 or more Android : 720 ｘ 1280 or more

What are the supported image file formats?

Files that meet the following conditions are supported. JPEG,PNG * Color images are converted to black and white for printing.
