CASIO INDIA X SPORTZVILLAGE FOUNDATION​

 

Launched in FY 24, our CSR Sports Project in collaboration with Sportz village Foundation is committed to unlocking potential, promoting inclusion & nurturing sporting excellence whilst providing equal access & opportunities in sports to underprivileged students.

Coverage: 20 Government Schools including 4 Sports Development Centres

Outreach: 6000+ underprivileged students

Impact: 20+ State to National Level Student Participation

Program Model: Grassroot Development for all & Sports for Excellence for Special Talent

The initiative ensures equitable access to:

  • Structured & curriculum-based sports education
  • Modern infrastructure & scientific approach to training
  • Professional coaching & Mentorship through renowned athletes

 

SPORTS FOR CHANGE INITIATIVE

 

On Children’s Day, an inter-school sports day was organised by Casio India & SVF for demonstrating competitiveness and felicitation of high-achievement students, who achieved excellence in various tournaments, making it to the State & National Levels.

 

Yuvraj Singh:

Yuvraj, an 18-year-old from Uttar Pradesh, transformed his passion for football through the CASIO Sports Program. Guided by Coach Shahrukh, he progressed from grassroots training to selections with Ashoka FC in the year 2025 and Second Kick FC in 2026. His journey highlights how structured sports initiatives can empower underserved youth and turn dreams into professional opportunities.

 

 

Ranjeet Yadav:

Ranjeet, a 17-year-old from a farming family in Uttar Pradesh, overcame financial hardships to pursue kabaddi. Through the CASIO-supported Sports Village Foundation program, he received professional training, improved his skills, and qualified for the SGFI Kabaddi National Camp. His journey highlights how grassroots sports initiatives can transform underprivileged youth into aspiring elite athletes.

 

 

Arti Yadav:

Arti, an 18-year-old from Uttar Pradesh, overcame financial hardships to pursue kabaddi after moving to Noida. Through the Sportz Village Foundation’s “Sports Development Centre” supported by CASIO, under the guidance from trainer Shweta, she became a district-level player. In 2026, Arti achieved a major milestone by earning selection for the AKFI Circle Kabaddi National Championship trials.
