Step count based fitness monitoring
A 3-axis accelerometer automatically starts counting your steps when you start walking. This provides you with useful information that you can use to determine your current condition and maintain your motivation. You can also use it to decide a comfortable pace, when to start down from a mountain, and when you should pitch camp.
If the watch is not moved for a certain amount of time, the sensor automatically enters a sleep mode to save power.
You can use the watch's smartphone app to link up and communication with a mobile terminal. Then measured altitude and step count data can be applied to calorie calculations and recorded by the app.
