Which musical instrument model can be connected with Bluetooth?

If you are using PX-S1000 or PX-S3000 models, Bluetooth is built into these models. When you use the menus below, you can use it by connecting to Bluetooth audio. ・ Score Viewer ・ Music Player ・ Live Concert Simulator If you are using AP-S200, AP-300, AP-S450, AP-550, AP-750, PX-S1100, PX-S3100, PX-S5000, PX-S6000, PX-S7000, CDP-S300, CT-S1, CT-S1-76, CT-S400, CT-S500, or CT-S1000V models, please connect the wireless MIDI & AUDIO adaptor (our WU-BT10) to your musical instrument.

What are the available menus? (PX-S3100)

What are the supported OS and recommended environment?

"iOS", "iPad OS" and "Android" are supported. * "PC OS" is not supported. ＜iPhone＞ iOS 15.0 or later. ＜iPad＞ iPadOS 15.0 or later. ＜iPod touch＞ iOS 15.0 or later. ＜Android＞ Android 8.0 or later. RAM size of 2GB or more is recommended. The details of the recommended environment are described on the application download page. I was using "Chordana Play (or Chordana Play for Piano)", and then I started using "CASIO MUSIC SPACE".
When playing AB repeat, it was not possible to set points A and B using the same procedure as for "Chordana Play (or Chordana Play for Piano)". How can I operate it?

The AB repeat playback of "CASIO MUSIC SPACE" has been improved to make it easier to use. * The playback position slider and the setting of point B are linked, and you can see where the setting position is in the song. Please follow the following procedures for repeat playback and A-B section setting: You can play the entire song or part of the song repeatedly. Please operate before starting playback or while playing is stopped. 1. Play the song and pause when you want to start repeat playback. When you tap the AB repeat button, the "A" icon appears at the beginning of the stopped bar. 2. While playing the song again, pause at the timing you want to repeat (a little earlier). When you tap the AB repeat button, a "B" icon will appear at the end of the stopped bar. 3. Tap the "play / pause" button to play "point A-point B" repeatedly. 4. To cancel the "point A-point B" section setting, tap the AB repeat button while playback is stopped.

Spotify is not displayed.

To use Spotify, you need to subscribe to the service. Please note that this service may not be available depending on your country or region. For more information, please check the Spotify website.

After updating the app, I can't work it.

The update may not have been performed correctly. Firstly, please try the following: 1. Delete the data and cache of the app by selecting "Device settings> Apps> CASIO MUSIC SPACE> Storage> Clear data". 2. Start CASIO MUSIC SPACE If it still doesn't work, please try reinstalling as follows: In case of Version 2.0.0 or later, the history data (*) will be deleted when reinstalling. If you have created the backup data by "Data Management> Data Backup", please restore the data after reinstallation. 1. Uninstall CASIO MUSIC SPACE. 2. Device settings> Google> Backup> Turn off backup to Google Drive. 3. Reinstall CASIO MUSIC SPACE. If you restore the backup data, please continue with the following operations: 4. Tap "Information> Data Management> Data Restore" from the top menu. 5. Select the backup file to restore. When I connect to Bluetooth and use Step Lesson, the sound is delayed.

With Bluetooth connection, the sound and operation may be delayed depending on the communication environment and the performance of the smart devices. ・ "1" and "2" of Step Lesson are played according to how you play the keyboard. As you get used to playing, you may be concerned about delays in sound and operation. ・ In such a case, please use "3" of Step Lesson or normal playback ("OFF" of Step Lesson).

When selecting an audio file, a playback error may occur.

The storage capacity of your smart device may be low. When the storage capacity is low, the performance of the app may be slowed down, and the file may not be opened. Please increase the storage capacity by deleting or moving the unnecessary data.

Can I use "CASIO MUSIC SPACE" without the musical instrument?

By using with a dedicated musical instrument, you can conveniently use various functions. Even if you don't have a musical instrument, you can still use some functions. * "Piano Remote Control" requires a digital piano that supports the application.

Apple Music is not displayed.

To use Apple Music, you need to subscribe to the service. Please note that this service may not be available depending on your country or region. For more information, please check the Apple Music website.

A download or loading error occurred while selecting a song.

You may not be able to use the service if your smart device has low storage space. In that case, please try increasing the free space on your smart device.

I can't tap the sync button on the remote controller. （AP-S200/AP-300/AP-S450/AP-550/AP-750）

Sync is fixed to off when connected with Bluetooth Low Energy MIDI (wireless connection). I want to know whether my Android smart device can support the "CASIO MUSIC SPACE" app.

Please try installing and working CASIO MUSIC SPACE. If your smart device shows the following message at the first startup, you cannot connect the musical instruments. ･ If MIDI is not supported, the message of "Your device does not support MIDI" is displayed. ･ If Bluetooth MIDI is not supported, the message of "Your device does not support Bluetooth MIDI" is displayed.

Can I use Spotify Lite?

You cannot use Spotify Lite.

When playing with a Bluetooth connection, the sound is distorted.

With Bluetooth connection, the sound may be distorted depending on the communication environment and the performance of the smart device. If this case, please try the following: - Adjust with the playback quality setting (*) of Bluetooth MIDI of the app. - If connected to Wi-Fi, please turn off the Wi-Fi function. - Connect with a cable. * In the playback quality setting of Bluetooth MIDI, please adjust the playback time of the musical instrument by selecting it from five levels of correction values. (Small correction → 1-2-3-4-5 → Large correction)

How to transfer the recorded song data created by "Chordana Play for Piano" to "CASIO MUSIC SPACE".

Copy the "Music / Chordana_Play_for_Piano / MidiRec" folder. 3. Paste the copied folder into the "Music / CASIO_MUSIC_SPACE" folder on your smart device. * The "Music / CASIO_MUSIC_SPACE" folder is created once you save a recorded song in "CASIO MUSIC SPACE". * If the "Music / CASIO_MUSIC_SPACE" folder does not exist, create the folder yourself. ■ For Android 11 or later If you want to import a recorded song of "CASIO MUSIC SPACE", please import it as a MIDI file and use it. ＜iOS＞ 1. How to connect a smart device and a musical instrument by USB.

The USB cable and conversion adaptor differ depending on the smart device. Please check the connecting terminal of your smart device, and prepare the USB cable and conversion adaptor. How is "CASIO MUSIC SPACE" different from the conventional applications "Chordana Play for Piano" and "Chordana Play"? How can I use these applications properly?

"CASIO MUSIC SPACE" is an upward compatible application. All the functions of "Chordana Play for Piano" and "Chordana Play" are installed, and the functions are increasing. We recommend that you use this "CASIO MUSIC SPACE" application.

Can I use the import data of "Chordana Play for Piano" to "CASIO MUSIC SPACE"?

How can I transfer MIDI files imported into “Chordana Play for Piano” to “CASIO MUSIC SPACE”?

The procedure differs depending on the OS. Please refer to the following. For Android: No special operation is required. “CASIO MUSIC SPACE” automatically displays all MIDI files stored on your smart device, so you can use them as they are. For iOS: A data transfer operation is required. Please follow the steps below. Launch the Files app on your iOS device. Copy the MIDI file(s) you want to transfer from the for Piano folder on your smart device. Paste the copied file(s) into the MUSIC SPACE folder.

I installed the app to my Android smart device, but I can't work it.

When I connected my instrument to my smart device via Bluetooth audio and started Spotify, Spotify went into driving mode.

Spotify may have recognized the Wireless MIDI & AUDIO adapter as a car-related Bluetooth device and switched it to driving mode. In Spotiy's driving mode, song playback will start automatically, but this will not affect your ability to use CASIO MUSIC SPACE.

I have decided to use a different smart device. Can I restore the backed-up data on another device?

Yes. Data can be restored even between different operating systems (iOS and Android). For detailed instructions, please refer to the User's Guide.

 When I make a Bluetooth MIDI connection with my musical instrument, the message "Connected" is displayed in the dialog box on my smart device. However, why is the lower part of "Connected" displayed with "(model number not available)"?

The lower part of "Connected" displays the MIDI device name which is obtained from the OS of the smart device. Normally, it is displayed as "(WU-BT10 MIDI)", but some smart devices may not display the MIDI device name such as "(model number not available)". This display does not affect operation. When "Connected" is displayed on your smart device, the Bluetooth MIDI connection has been successfully completed. All functions of the musical instrument, wireless MIDI & AUDIO adaptor (WU-BT10), and app work properly, and you can use them without any problems.

Where can I find Performance Tools (such as Piano Roll and Score Viewer)?

Tap Performance Tools under Services on the Home screen to open the Performance Tools selection screen. The following features are available in Performance Tools: 1. Piano Roll You can practice included songs and receive a score on the piano roll screen, where note pitch and duration are displayed visually. 2. Music Player You can play along with your favorite songs or tracks from music streaming services. Tempo adjustment and repeat playback are also available. 3. Remote Controller You can check and control various keyboard settings from a list displayed in the app. If you try to connect to an unsupported model, or if a supported model is not connected, a connection error will be displayed. 4. Score Viewer You can view sheet music for a variety of songs and listen to the songs in the score. 5. Live Concert Simulator This feature lets you experience the feeling of performing in various venues, such as a stadium, a classical concert hall, or on a beach. 6. Data Center You can check the cumulative number of performances using the features above and view song commentary.

I accidentally overwrote the data backed up to the cloud.
Can I restore the previous data?

Only the most recent backup is stored in the cloud. For this reason, once data has been overwritten, it cannot be restored to its previous state. If you need to manage multiple versions of your data, we recommend backing up locally.

How many backups can be stored in the cloud?

Only one backup can be stored in the cloud. If you perform a new cloud backup while an existing backup is already stored, the old backup will be overwritten and only the most recent data will be kept.

How can I delete data backed up to the cloud?

To delete backup data stored in the cloud, you need to delete your CASIO ID account. Tap “Settings” in the upper-left corner of the home screen, then tap “Account” , select “Delete your CASIO ID” , and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

Do I need to register for a CASIO ID to use the app?

You can use the app without registering for a CASIO ID. By linking a CASIO ID, you can back up data to the cloud, such as the Number of songs and times played for each function, Tone setting in “Music Player”, and Scoring Results in “Piano Roll”. For details, please refer to the User's Guide .
