The romantic story behind this collaboration begins with a BABY-G, the very first watch VERDY ever gave his wife, a gift they both cherish to this day. VERDY brings his special touch to the anniversary celebrations with a street-style aesthetic that embodies the spirit of his Girls Don’t Cry brand. He even redesigns the iconic Pair Collection’s angel and devil featured from the very first model released in 1996. The G-SHOCK in the pair is based on the DW-5600 line, perfect for easy everyday style. The Girls Don’t Cry logo is printed on the watch face, and the logo pattern is printed in glossy black ink on the band, giving the watch a subtle, yet distinctive presence. An original VERDY illustration, Devil, is engraved on the case back, with a heart-shaped cut-out on the band loop for a touch of fun. Press the button to activate the light and the Girls Don’t Cry butterfly icon appears in vivid pink. Careful attention to every detail delivers a design that is cool and sophisticated, but still playful. The BABY-G is based on the BGD-565 and echoes the design concept of the G-SHOCK with added accents in white ink for a cute, eye-catching touch. The Girls Don’t Cry brand logo printed on the black watch face is paired with the logo pattern printed on the band in matte white. The result is a sweetly charming design that playfully toys with contrast. The case back is engraved with an original VERDY illustration, Angel, to complement the G-SHOCK Devil, with the same heart-shaped cut-out on the band loop, for a pair of watches that are unmistakably linked. Press the button to activate the light and a butterfly icon appears in cool green. Even the special packaging is designed by VERDY. Each watch comes in an original limited-edition pouch specially designed to snap together back-to-back. The pouches feature gold-coloured heart-shaped charms and other carefully crafted details.
